I saw this a while back. It illustrates how INSANELY large the Enterprise-D is. If its crew were evenly distributed, you could walk its corridors a long time before encountering anyone!
I've seen that and damn, that's a lot of space. You can't get anywhere near that kind of space on a carrier, even.
Even before seeing it in scale with a known object like DS9 I always assumed due to its fleet role that Cerritos was on the smaller side. And, wow. That ENT-D video really puts the size of that ship in perspective. You hear it's got a crew of a thousand and you think, "Yeah, they could fit that many comfortably" but it's ridiculously large for that much crew. But IIRC the TNG technical manual states that the ship can carry up to 15,000 evacuees in an emergency which, at the time, seemed like a really large number until I watched Paladin's video.
Oh, and note: "Those Old Scientists" actually happens during season 3. Specifically between episodes 5-6.
Trailer dissection. https://trekmovie.com/2023/07/26/an...s-ferengi-love-voyager-goo-orion-knives-more/ I didn't pick up on that they were on the Voyager bridge in that one part! Didn't notice Rom and Leela either!
Glad to hear it cuz the season 3 two partner finale was uneven, to put it mildly and made Freeman look as insane as fandom accuses Janeway of being.
The design similarity to this creature has to be intentional: @Tererun knows what I'm getting at At any rate, I'm pretty pleasantly surprised that the show actually started off with the promotions. I was fully expecting Mariner's to be a series finale event but glad that they went the way they did. It's getting harder to justify why they weren't getting their promotions. Also liked Ransom not falling for Mariner's self-sabotage in the 2nd episode yet still trusting that she didn't let the fluffy hellbeast escape. Oh yeah, and I guess the visit to Voyager was alright, I guess. Here's hoping @Lt. Mewa got something outta it. I'm not surprised that a T'Ana/Billups hybrid would fight back and take prisoners
Will Peanut Hamper be in this season? I only ask because my kids want to see Peanut Hamper and I don't want to watch this show.
Both episodes were great, but the first one was a Voyager greatest hits. I like how the Vulcan girl ordered a water, room temperature. What a Vulcan thing to do. I also love how we see the Lower Decks of other species, the Romulan on was really funny, everyone out to get each other. That was great. So, any guesses on who's blowing up ships? I noticed they added the whale probe to the Borg battle.
