10 is finally done in the rough- about 20% edited. RL slowed me down over the weekend and coming into the week. Today I'm sitting around babysitting broken jets, so I'm getting some more done...

Chapter 11 is in the editing stage- chapter 12 to go and that's a wrap!

Episode 3, when I get around to it, will be titled The New Order and it will more fully explore the rise of the Empire and the Jedi purge than we saw in the canon ROTS.

Haven't used canon titles for the first two, so I thought I'd stick with it for the third.

Shortly I'll do one final edit, combine files (usually 4 chapters per grouping due to file size), and post the whole thing in my story gallery thread.

There won't be any significant changes to that final edit- mostly grammar, typos, and such.

You may have noticed that a certain Jedi Knight, Qu Rahn, had a bigger cameo in this story.

In EPIII one subplot will involve a little bit more of Rahn, along with the introduction of (future) Emperor's Hand and Imperial Inquisitor Jerec, as well as Morgan Katarn. In Episode II, you saw some of Sith trained, non-Force sensitive warriors who will eventually become Emperor Palpatine's Imperial Guard. Jerec will have his start as one of them.

This will all be a subplot, but a semi-important one as it relates to the rise of the Empire and the Jedi purge.

At some point I intend to tackle my own version (within the boundaries of this canon) of the Dark Forces/ JK backstory. I absolutely HATE the canon version as written by Dietz in those three hardcover novellas by Dark Horse comics- they REEK.

The Final Edit is about halfway done; like I did with EP I I'll clump the chapters into groups and put them in the story gallery in one post; when that happens all the files in this thread will be pulled.

I've already got a full page of notes for EP III and a clear idea of the overall flow of the story. Hopefully sooner rather than later...

I noticed a lack of comments towards the end of this one, which leads me to one of two conclusions:

1. The normal crowd hasn't finished reading it yet, or...

2. They have and the opinions aren't so hot.

I'll admit I don't like it nearly as much as I do my version of EP I. We'll see how number III goes when I get around to it...

First off... BOBA FETT!!! FUCK YEAH!! It really was the right choice to get yourself out of the corner, and he's probably the most capable choice to be Anakin's sidekick.

The combat, as always, well described.

On first read, there's no real holes in the plot. I like the moments where Anakin is starting to taste the dark side and his inner anger. His fall is sympathetic as his motivation is honestly arrived at.

Its another solid work on your part, considering you're making silk purses from sow ears.

Twas great. A fantastic job using the characters and hilt in limitation of Ep 4 etc. it's what the prequels should have been. The turning of Anakin made much more sense here than in Lucas' versions.
