Has anyone bought anything yet? I bought Far Cry 3 for 7.50 on Amazon.

I've seen other games I've wanted, but haven't pulled the trigger.

Antichamber is $5.00 on Steam: Not sure if I want to play a puzzle game, but when it came out everybody was talking about it.
Papers Please is $5.00 on Steam: I've seen people play this and heard them talk about this. Pretty close to buying it.
Kentucky Route Zero is $12.50 on the Humble Store: I watched the quick look a while back on Giant Bomb and remember it looking really really cool. I might wait to see if it's cheaper on Steam, though the Humble deal expires at 2:00 EST. Taking a risk by hoping the Autumn sale has it cheaper.
Don't Starve is $5.00 on Steam: Another one I'm tempted to buy. I've seen people play this game in various forms, and Klei is a developer who has made a name for themselves. They've certainly evolved from making the Shank games to making really good ones.

Anyone see anything they're interested in? Skyrim is the cheapest it's ever been.

Steam is refusing refunds to most people who bought that steaming pile of fail X Rebirth.

Steam can suck my left nut.

They will not get another penny from me...too many other services in that space now, Steam no longer holds a monopoly.

Steam has always had a no refund policy. There have only been a couple of times in the last 5 years I remember them giving refunds at all. I know one was in the last year or two but can't remember it. The other one I remember was GTA IV.

That policy gets waived fairly regularly. Also, the problem is some are getting refunds and some aren't. Specifically the CSR rep "Robbie" is refusing all refunds, no exceptions...yet others are granting them. Check out the Steam forums, the official forums and Metacritic. This game needs to be pulled and EVEYONE refunded. To add insult to injury Steam is telling people to go to egosoft for refunds even though they aren't the vendor.

I know steam has tons of fans (fanboys), but they still aren't a very good company, they are just a convenient company. With companies like gog, D2D, Origin, xBox Live, and PSN all offering digital downloads, they need to be much more customer friendly or they will drive people to other services. In fact I just spent $40 on Origin today....yeah yeah...I know, EA is the embodiment of all evil in the universe....but they still give refunds.
