Yeah. Saw a great 1911 tonight in 10mm.

Came home, got on craigslist and saw a washer and dryer at a great price. Got 'em hooked up. Didn't take long!

Freaking sucks though! I wanted the gun, but I'm so sick of using the apt laundromat.

Yeah---I hate spending my money on things like tile and faucets. It happens the older we get. :(

Being a grownup stinks at times, but you get used to it.

Forget what I said about those pictures you posted the other day. If it costs that much to live there, I'm very, very glad to be where I am.

Oh, and Poodle. Have you considered that this is a sure sign of desperation to bring back your ex?

A sure sign of domestication. Just don't make her wash your unmentionables.

Well the spending money part sucks but doing it yourself (laying tile and installing faucets) saves a big chunk of change and you get a bunch of new tools. Better still it's fun and you end up with a higher quality result. Though it does seem to take a little longer than when the professionals do it.

I... dunno if that will get her back. We've been talking and I'm actually flying her from Massachussets to Mississippi on Saturday to spend time with her family. She and I will spend time together on Sunday, and she wanted to talk about getting back together.

This was all BEFORE the washing machine and dryer.

When she finds out I got Kenwood Elites... she can only be even happier!

Although, there is the fact that she wants my current Kimber, and would have been stoked if I'd gotten the 10mm for that alone. :bang:

We'll probably have to fill up at least once more before spring, with maybe a small delivery to keep it at least half full before the heating season ends. you want to keep it from going below half so it doesn't stir up the gunk at the bottom and clog the oil lines.

I feel your pain. I spent $7000 on a new Air Conditioner and Furnace this Summer. I'm sure I could've found PLENTY of other uses for it!

A washer and dryer show you're quite domesticated. In that same line of thinking, you should have a good dishwasher and vacuum cleaner as well.

I'll leave the other appliance recommendations to the others here...

I have all of those things. And yet, as we spoke last night she wept. :( If I could do anything to make her happy, I would. Yet I have to dig deeper than he grand canyon to figure out or pry from her what is wrong.

When my folks had that NY state farmland, they had a 1,000 gallon gasoline tank in the yard to keep the tractors, snowmobiles and cars fed (the nearest station was miiiiiiles away!). I bet mom's glad she doesn't have to fill that puppy up any more!

My friend, if I had all the answers to why women are the way they are, I wouldn't be sitting here chatting on a Friday afternoon. I'd have already made a fortune to make Buffett and Gates drool with envy.

I know what you mean... I have to save every penny to be able to pay tuition... but the bloody Xbox360 is getting cheaper and cheaper, down to 149 euro now for the arcade model... and still I know I shouldn't buy it :(

Go to your local erotic shop and take a gander at the stuff they have behind the curtain in the back where you have to show your ID before they let you in.
