If Bernie Sanders wins by enough to put him an unassailable position then the meltdown from establishment Democrats will be glorious.
I see MANY passionate Bernie voters. I know of NO passionate Biden voters. Biden's recent SC victory and the endorsements from former candidates aren't going to be enough to get people out, IMHO.
I just made a thread about it in the red room with a video taken from a helicopter (I assume) and it is really, really serious damage.
Mike Bloomberg is cobra commander? So does that make Biden destro? And do I really want a bernie with a kung fu grip?
CA vote won’t be certified for at least 2 weeks. Probably longer. If you live in a region with COVID-19 infections, bring a Clorox wipe and hand sanitizer to the polls.
The big thing to note in SC is that 3 in 10 of the voters there are over sixty. There's a huge black population there, but even most of those under 45 support Sanders. The DNC has got to get it through their heads that safety does not get people to the polls. Passion does. Passion got Clinton two terms. Passion got Obama elected, and he was arguably one of the least electible candidates in '08 on paper. Passion is what put Trump into office, albeit for the entirely wrong reasons. Lack of passion is what helped Bush squeak out the narrow victory in 2000 and why he became a two-term president. Win hearts first. Enact policy later.
I am pretty sure inhaling some gasoline fumes will quickly denature the virus so it will not harm your delicate tissues. Just sayin.
It is his defeat which is most urgently required, and which to me at least outweighs all other concerns. To that end, anything with a tendency to reduce the chances of beating Trump, such as a Democratic meltdown, is undesirable.
I don't disagree, but if we can police our own side and not be blatant hypocrites when the DNC tries a power grab, that would be an added bonus.
I just hope whoever wins the nomination has a clear majority of delegates, and the other candidates' supporters accept the result and shift focus to November.
Is it a "power grab" for a political party to want a real member of the party as its candidate? It seems to me that the "power grab" is the person who has persistently refused to join the party to "sign up" every four years, just long enough to try to grab their nomination, so that all the machinery of a party he wouldn't help build is supposed to help him in his personal ambition to become president. That's a Trump trick.
I was going to vote for Weld today just so I could vote against Trump two times this year, but the line was too long at my polling place and I had to get to work.
I do want a brokered convention but I’m betting Bernie takes a lead big enough that he all but wraps up the nomination.
Hillary wants a brokered convention too. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/v...the_rules_on_delegates_at_dnc_convention.html I tell you that woman is trying to maneuver to become the nominee in the 2nd round. A brokered convention would be a glorious thing to see. Russian sympathizer Bernie Bris like Tererun would rampage.
nailed it! If you become Trump to beat Trump what have you accomplished? That's in the bible BTW and if Dayton were here he'd back me up on this.
Today has not been super in my opinion. It is just a plain old tuesday where people are going about their business. I cannot think of anything extraordinary about today so far. I think I am going to have to contact the people in charge of naming things and demand they rename this day something more appropriate. I am thinking something like go fuck yourself tuesday which sums up my feelings on the day so far.
Ok, I am starting a fund to get you some fucking help with your fixation on hillary. It is just not healthy. I am a bit worried you might actually do something considering how much thought you seem to give her. Where did hillary touch you to have so harmed you? Did she come into your bedroom and assrape you with mewling kittens on a stick?
That is a good fucking idea. It is not practical or effective in any way, but I would really like to vote against trump twice. Hell, if I could click a button and vote a number of times against a candidate I would give flashy a run for his money in downvoting trump. I am not sure I could actually beat him, but I could come close given my past efforts at tedious repetative things.
I like Thursday because it's the last day I can relax before "bad luck Friday" hits me like a brick to the crotch!
