Well, all I had been eating was liquids that had to pass through my wired jaw. However, it was kind of hard when anything remotely solid came up. It was really not fun!

    NEW UPDATE!!!

    I AM UNWIRED!!!

I got them off 6 hours ago. I went to Chinese food for my first meal and it was good! It was tough to eat, but it was nice! I mostly just ate noodles. It was better than soup!! Now I'm going to go drive down and buy some organic ice cream!! First time driving in 2 weeks!!! I can talk so much better now! I still have this splint in so I have a bit of a lisp. It is wired to my top jaw, so I'm not fully unwired, but I can open and close my mouth now (about 1 centimeter).

Yay! Part of my stitches came out last night!! Yay! Now that part can start healing on it's own.
However, I bit my lip really bad my first night unwired and since I can't feel my lip, I keep biting it, so it's pretty messed up.
I can eat a lot more now. I have been eating "normal" food, only soft stuff, but nothing unusual! :) It's awesome! I can open my mouth almost as much as I could before surgery! I still hurt, but it's not that bad! I'm doing way better now!!! :)

I am finally back to normal, well still with braces. I just got my plastic splint off. It was wired to my top teeth to keep my jaw in place. It is so amazing to have my teeth come together again! I haven't had that in years! I think about 5 or more years. It is crazy! I'm very glad I got this surgery done! It looks great! :)
