Tapatalk iPhone App support

Lanzman, do you have technical concerns with installing the plug-in? Is it not as straight forward as it seems? I'm just wondering why it's taking so long.

It's taking so long because I've not gotten to it yet, pretty much. For that, I apologize. Having looked thru the material it doesn't seem like installation will be particularly difficult. I just need to do it.

Tapatalk is a mobile forum app for iPhone / Android and soon to be on Blackberry and Nokia. I'm posting this via Tapatalk. However, rep doesn't exist and it seems I have to login each time I use the app.

Hmmm . . . that doesn't sound right, about the logging in thing. Rep is a pop-up so that might explain that . . .

Maybe its a problem with my settings.

Ugh. That's $3 down the tubes.

I much prefer just using the iPhone Safari browser.

I don't think tapatalk handles those types of features. Some of the other boards I visit with similar features are also not available there either.

On the log in issue, I usually only have to log in after I restart the phone or after a tapatalk update. Not sure if that helps.

Lanzman, THANK YOU for installing this. From my understanding this is new and should only get better in the next six months.

If you want to take a screenshot of whatever is on your iPhone screen, hold down the "home" button and press the screen on/off button in the upper-right corner of the phone. The screenshot is added to your photos.

Apostle has it right. As mobile platforms get better, Tapatalk should hopefully get better since they have the incentive. The good thing is that now Lanz doesn't have to worry about it.
