I've used this app almost exclusively for the last several months. But, lately it's started having some issues. Searches no longer work and I can no longer quote or multi-quote posts. Every answer I find says to notify the forum Admin to check the plugin on the board's end.

    So...that's what I'm doing.

It could be related to the recent board issues. How recently have the issues popped up?

I'm sure it's board related -- this symptoms could be caused by timeouts on response from the database.

I can't put text into rep comments from my phone. Been that way for a couple days now.

Tapatalk is a mediocre app to begin with. It doesn't even have rep.

The lack of rep is a glaring failure, but it works pretty well for everything else when on the go.

    Thanks!

I prefer it's formatting versus the standard web interface. It's much better, for me, on the smaller screen. That said, if anyone has an alternative, I'm all ears.

Weird. In another forum, I quoted text and the comments were also quoted. I thought that might have added some extra calls, but I'm not able to duplicate it here.

Tapatalk just died again. Also, since O2C did whatever he did, the rep notifications have broken. That is, when using the website, you in longer get a notification in the info cluster at the top right of the page.

Are you sure it's not because you have your rep turned off? When rep is turned off, you don't get such notifications, and you turned your rep off two weeks ago.

Aha! That's probably it. I use Tapatalk almost exclusively and it doesn't support aftermarket add-ins or hacks like reputation. So, I simply turned it off. I'm not going to see the comments anyway.
