Good training (and shooting) on the part of the Brad. By continuing to move perpendicular he’s able to get to the side armor of the T90M. By shooting on the move he’s a harder target.

Bad shooting (how you gonna miss TWICE point blank, while you’re stopped and waiting in ambush?!!!) equipment (Russian tanks suck at reverse, which is how the Brad is able to get to the side armor) and training (trying to turn and run just gives the Brad even more weak armor).

Either way, what Anc said. If you let something with a smaller gun maneuver so it can shoot you in the ass or sides where you're weakest, you deserve what you get. In 2003 a platoon (or maybe just a section?) of Bradleys used just their 25mms with sabot ammunition to take out several Iraqi T-55s by shooting them in the ass because the tank crews didn't maintain situational awareness.

Now we're finding out that Russian soldiers suck just as badly as their Arab counterparts.

When I used to play games more often on my Playstation and Playstation 2 I had a tank combat game which, aside from the late-90s graphics, was pretty realistic. You could use whatever vehicle the game gave you or you could choose your own and my favorite scenarios were a couple set in the Normandy hedgerows. I'd choose an M5A1 and use the concealment of the hedges with the speed of the tank to maneuver into position where I could take out Panzer IVs, Stug IIIs, and even Panthers with side or rear shots with the little 37mm gun on my tank.

In his memoirs, Patton talks about encountering a US tank that was parked out in the open at some crossroads. He went to yell at the crew for being in such a vulnerable position and they pointed out to him that the Germans thought the tank was abandoned, so they'd just drive by, only for the tank to turn its guns on them and well, no more Germans.
