...And a Michigan judge just shot down the Trump campaign's attempt to block the certification of Biden's win in Detroit.

Most networks are projecting a 306 - 232 victory for Biden.

A little music to celebrate with:

Ben Hovland, the head of the Election Assistance Commission (EAC), has blasted Trump's false election claims as "baffling", "alarming" and "disrespectful".

EAC is the federal agency responsible for setting standards for voting systems and certifying machines. Hovland was appointed by Trump himself last year and unanimously confirmed by the Republican-controlled Senate.

Georgia Recount Continues

Vote counting appeared to go smoothly throughout metro Atlanta over the weekend, as work continued on the state’s sweeping manual recount of the 5 million ballots cast in the presidential contest.

No irregularities or significant tabulation errors emerged during the first three days of the recount, officials said. Two major metro counties — Fulton and DeKalb — completed their efforts on Sunday.

Counting across the state can continue through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday.

Here’s what you need to know:

• President Joe Biden the winner of Georgia’s 16 electoral votes on Friday
• President Donald Trump currently trails Biden by roughly 14,000 votes. Officials don’t expect the recount to change the final tally much
• Trump and his allies continued spread false claims about the recount process on social media
• Hand counting of ballots is either finished or winding down across metro Atlanta.

Floyd County GA found an extra 2600 votes in the sofa cushions.

This county went for Trump by 70%.

Trump gained 778 votes against Biden narrowing his GA loss from 14,205 to 13,427. Ed, we may have to fire up the trumpbus if this keeps up.

It’s been 20 years since I lived in Floyd Co (Rome) but the local government fucking up doesn’t surprise me a bit.

Well, shit.

That's just going to feed into Trump's narrative.

1. Floyd Co is a majority Republican county, with a Republican local government in a Republican controlled state.

2. This was a human error. Someone forgot to upload a data stick. This wasn't a machine error.

Anyone who sees conspiracy there is too stupid to be taken seriously.

And at the end of the day, it's not even close to enough. GA might not be blue, but it sure as fuck didn't want Trump.

And with their Sec State actually having integrity and pointing out how corrupt the rest of them are (as well as Lady G) the Dems might even pull off the miracle on Jan 5th.

We're talking about Trump supporters.

One of those situations were you both are absolutely correct.

Can you imagine the hysterical shrieking from the Trumpkins if this had happened with a cache of Biden-leaning votes?

^"Trumpkins." That's one I haven't encountered before.

Whether or not it tips the election is irrelevant. Those people who cast ballots deserve to have their vote counted.
