INTERESTING INDEED! Maybe this will get traction in a few months when things settle down somewhat. But it's a pretty big risk - maybe tweaking the Republican Party would be more doable but I will research this new party info. I read an article yesterday about getting rid of the EC but that the alternatives are not really any better. I might google it and read it again.
A lot of Republicans and Democrats don't like the EC but finding a work-around is quicker than getting rid of it entirely.

The Republicans added/flipped a record breaking number of female & minority Senate & house seats in this election. Any thoughts? Side note: fuck off

damn that was quite a mouthful.....of shit that is. FYI there are many Republicans (right here on wordforge) that do not believe in God or Trump, or perhaps one but not the other. You really do not know what you are talking about in this regard. You are just broad brushing and/ or repeating liberal talking points.

Of course he is, because he doesn't share your viewpoint! That seems to be SOP for the left - shut down or dismiss opposing viewpoints. Glad to see that you are following the party line like a good girl.

Show me where actual pro-communism Democrats are winning and dragging the party to the left. I'll wait. :sroll:

Congratulations on becoming a Christian! You pointed out in another thread that I am a Christian, so if I apply this principle to your own posts, it shows you have found the faith!

Very, very broadly also my experience in shifting from Republican self-identity into an independent who wants action on certain issues. With special attention to the bolded part.

I was able to make that jump because I was young and I genuinely want(ed) to be the best me I can be, and that means facing the truth. Looking at this culture, I see a lot of people who don't have that kind of drive.

I suspect a lot of conservatives (and I don't say there aren't similar liberals) want to have found a simple, unquestioned source of guidance, whether it's a Bible or a parent or a politician or a news channel, and just turn over decision-making and assume their life is perfect now, that they've found the source of all truth and don't have to do any more work. And some of those who have decided that the GOP isn't worth supporting would still rather die than support Democrats if death means owning the libs. They've abandoned being a fan of the GOP, but they still hate the DNC.
