The Grey Man

Now that this is hopefully back on topic, this was an extremely forgettable movie that was best covered in the pitch meeting. I had even forgotten I had watched it until this thread. I did not hate it hate it, but that was probably because I started doing other things while watching it which is never a good sign an action comedy is holding your attention. I tend to like campy action flicks with comedy, but this did not land anywhere. The one liners sucked, there was no OMG that was awesome, and you have really seen most of it before.

As for better movies on netflix in this same line Day Shift was pretty good. The action choreography was John Wick level, because John wick people. It was a self aware comedy with well landing humor. It has Jaimie Fox in a good bad ass action role and humor. It has been a while since I did a good squee for the arrival of a bad ass action hero like I did when Snoop dog arrived in the third act. I think I woke up the neighbors, and good because they are the HOA nazis and I am fucking moving. You can tell Snoop is not doing his action scenes, but he he enters like fuck yeah. The vampires are also super combat demons and not your interview prissy tom cruise twats. Also, the wise cracking kid was well done and not cousin oliver level annoying.

Wash the taste of the meh netflix action comedy out with one that knows how to do it. I want more bad ass snoop in movies.

If you want to act as obtusely as those you are criticising, sure.

I thought it was childish, dumb, immature, probably didn't vote for Trump but would defend him at the drop of the hat, drunk, and best suited for menial fast food work.

Terrible movie all around.

I thought it started well but ran out of steam halfway through when it failed to develop it's plot.
