I know many churches have had trouble counseling people with porn addictions due to mobile phones - how do you help an addicted person when they can get the source of their addiction on a phone?!

I was watching this eposide of the Discovery Channel a while back that aired a special on the world of porn. They showed no photos or videos or anything like that, they were only talking about the buiness portion of it.

If I remember right, they said that here in the U.S. alone, the porn industry brings in over $12 Billion dollars a year (that's more money then every sporting every sporting event in this country brings in combined), and over $57 Billion dollars worldwide.

The Govt doesn't care much for it, but de to the extremely high revenue, it does very little to interfere. The Govt's only two concerns are that:

    1) It stays out of the hand of minors (all participants must be 18 years of age or older

    2) It's kept out of view of the general public.

Thats mainly it. Other than that they really don't care what they do. There are many other companies that are also making a huge profit off of it that the average person wouldn't even think of too. Places like:

    Radio Shack

    Best Buy

    Circuit City

    IBM

    eMachines

    Dell

    Discover Card

    Visa

    American Express

These are just a few. Everytime an electronic store introduces a new TV, computer, DVD player, or some other high dollar item on their shelves, the people that susbcribe to porn are usually the first ones to buy them. (they can track them by their IP Adresses and credit card uses) so they know who these people are. As long as they are spending tons of money, these companies don't care how they are using their products. All the major credit card companies are making a grand killing from it too.

The women on average make over ten times what the men make. They usually film them in four positions at $500 a position. Thats over $2000 for just one scene (the men get only $200). If they can match her with three men in one week. Thats over $6000/week some of those women make.

As long as they have customers that are willing to keep paying high dollars for it, the marketing industry is gonna do its best to get this stuff to them anyway it can

    Go Figure
