Regardless yes it's a big manpower issue guarding a high profile suspect but DAMN! You still have to...ya know....DO YOUR FUCKING JOB and save the bitching for after you accomplish the mission. Latest reports claim that when Epstein's cell mate got transferred the jail should have (damn that "s" word again) put another suspect in the cell - that didn't happen. Also they were not doing their 30 minute checks every time.

Do I suspect a conspiracy? Not at this time. Do I suspect ineptitude/apathy/carelessness/laziness/lack of attention to detail/lack of accountability? Yes I do, not that I ever had much faith in the criminal justice system as a whole.

So they are blaming the guards? Id Iike to think that Clinton's fixer, the Rothschild's fixer, the DeBeers fixer, Epstein's mossad handler, the CIA, MI6, and Ted Cruze all just kind of showed up a couple of minutes apart from each other, each giving some working class schlub of a guard a briefcase of cash to take a smoke break, and he and his family are now on some remote island enjoying themselves.

Epstein was a rich and powerful man facing a potentially devastating legal prosecution and a very lengthy prison term. Loss of reputation, loss of wealth, loss of status, loss of freedom...he was looking at a very great reversal of fortune.

I don't think anyone would have had enough time to set up a hit. But think about this - everyone here complains about privileged people getting special treatment. So I guess in this case Epstein was not treated like a valued customer. He was treated like everyone else who commits suicide in jail - which happens quite frequently in jail versus long-haul prison, at least in my county lockup.

the real loser in all of this is the television viewing public. All hopes are dashed in ever seeing an "OJ Simpson Trial" type of TV movie or mini-series.

I am glad they are continuing forward and not letting this die. There are certainly more people involved than him, and this is rape, sadism, and human abuse even with children. It is the most disgusting of human evils and it seems he was involved with participating in and making it happen for rich and powerful people. If his death opens up a huge amount of evidence then good. As long as they follow the evidence and don't bury it I am happy. Yes, that also means if they take down a person like Bill clinton if he was involved in victimizing people. I don't care if Bill was involved in voluntary orgies with sex and drugs and adults. I could get why you want to keep that is a secured area where only willing participants are allowed, and no children. However, if there was underage people or raping and sex slavery involved and Bill just let it go or participated, then he needs to spend some time in a cage. The same with Trump, or anyone else who might have been involved.

I am loose on a lot of things regarding consensual sexual activities among adults, but the perversions that epstein was involved in should not be a part of legal freedoms and sexual expression. I have been to drug fueled orgies and there needs to be safety and rules so people do not get unreasonably hurt. There is always going to be stupidity with feelings getting hurt when you have a bunch of people sucking and fucking and that cannot always be helped, but you go into that knowing the truth and being free to say no.

Let's look at this:

#1 Epstein cleared from suicide watch.
#2 Put in a room by himself against policy.
#3 Put in a room that has bunk beds.
#4 Put in a room that enables him to have regular sheets. Not the paper type you get while on suicide watch.
#5 Guards fail to do their job.
#6 Cameras in area fail to work.
#7 Epstein kills himself.
#8 Two days later the FBI races out too his island in speed boats and starts gathering everything they can get their hands on. None of it can be challenged in court because Epstein is dead.

Shit you could almost make a conspiracy theory that they killed him not to silence him but to be able to get to the evidence on the island with no one able to contest it in court.

For the record, I personally believe that it's as I said up-thread. Incompetence on part of the guards and the facility as a whole allowed Epstein to take advantage of the situation and he killed himself. The FBI is just taking advantage of his death to raid his island and get as much evidence as they can. Hopefully they find the mother-lode of evidence that puts a shit load of people in prison. Apparently Epstein was one of those people who kept incredibly detailed diaries.
