Star Wars Meg has put forth a hypothesis - that The Armorer is Corkie's mother. Imagine, three sisters growing up - Satine, destined to inherit her father's throne, BoKatan, the youngest, always getting away with shit even joining the Death Watch, then there's the one in the middle. Who was probably always doing as she was told. Always making the sacrifices. It would explain how she knew how Bo got the dark saber and how she lost it and it would explain why she was so angry with Bo. This is now my head canon until told otherwise.
S03E06 This isn't the greatest episode of The Mandalorian in the world, no, this is just a tribute! Seriously! Jack Black and Christopher Lloyd in the same episode? Oh wow, it was almost too much to handle. This was such a fun episode for me from start to finish. Everything about it was well done, IMO. Bryce Dallas Howard seems to have a steady hand at directing, just like her father. Also, Bo Kataan once again wields the Dark Saber, which I'm glad because she's quickly become a favorite character.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Lizzo & Jack Black onscreen... and then Christopher Lloyd? That alone made this episode one of my favorites. I liked the investigative aspects of this episode too. Bo Katan obviously has a lot of respect for Din Jarin I'm not sure why she didn't claim the Dark Saber when she rescued Din, but that was in the back of my mind the entire time.
Jack fucking Black. And Christopher Lloyd, what are you doing, man? Is this all desperate stunt casting?
Did I like this episode? Yes, yes, yes, yes. Do I like that the big dude had to die? No, no, no, no. So this is how we get to Thrawn and presumably the rise of the First Order. I'm guessing Asoka and Ezra take out Thrawn, but of course the First Order survives. I can't wait to see how this all plays out over the next few years.
Yo!! That survivor Mandalorian… was that fucking Skinny Pete from Breaking Bad? A google search confirms that it was!
So basically for the last episode Bo Katan is going to somehow get herself one of those massive Mando-zillas and then it's going to bust up Gideon's lair and rescue DD
If they believe in balance, Boba should show up and kick Gideon's ass, just to make up for Din and Grogu stealing his thunder in BOBF.
Well, that was a kick ass finale with a happy ending. For now. Can't wait for Asoka to see how this overall story continues.
Didn't see a problem with Bo-Katan coming to the rescue. The reverse has has been done to death. I didn't really like Grogu in the IG unit. and this episode shows why. He's much more dexterous without it. Glad Gideon is finally dead. I hate the character that guy plays in every series he's been in.
I somehow read this in pretend Radical Afro-Nationalist comic book author from Chasing Amy’s voice. [edit] Just realized there is a decent chance half of y’all have no idea what I’m talking about. BLACK RAGE!!! It has been too long since I’ve watched this. Even funnier than I remember. Wonder how the whole movie holds up.
They seem to be going tit-for-tat on that. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. You sweet summer child. I don't buy it yet. I think the reason you "hate" his characters is because he so good at being an asshole. There's no way Star Wars is going to let him go just yet. I hear the Double F's are making a Mandalorian movie soon? We'll see.
It's true. I've never been able to distance characters from actors when the actor does such a good job at being an asshole. I've never gotten the "characters you love to hate" thing, either. This guy got on my bad side in the first series in which I saw him and that was .. Revolutions(?) a post apocalyptic series in which something is preventing electricity from happening. it was weird. Anyway, his character's backstory made me hate every character he's played since. He was a weak sniviling little shitstain who everyone pushed around, then after shit hits the fan, he finds he's good at being a sneaky asshole. I still have trouble watching Demi Moore because I so hated a character she played on General Hospital back in the 1970s.
