It is probably because AI is not particularly strategic and programmed with game theory in mind.



The video above really explains how game theory works towards things like aggressive actions and how certain models avoid a negative result that would probably be best associated with nukes. You have to do a little mental translation and application, but I would imagine a chatbot is not an Ai programmed to deal with this sort of scenario.
