Gee, you had to listen to it to figure that out? And you clicked on it so you’ve given them incentive to make more shit like this. Good job.

You're not the boss of me.

I'm going to play it three more times now. I'm not actually going to listen to it again, but I'm going to increase their view count.

What a sad little man you are. It’s probably not going to be too much longer before you’re reduced to making sandwiches at this rate.

Our new FF would know all about that.

Anyway, I get my sammiches from Publix and not you Subway fools.

Oh, and I am still not clicking on your bastard podcast no matter how many spoiler tags you put in your advertisement.

Working at Subway would actually be a step up for me right now, so, shows what you know!

I make awesome sandwiches and any sandwich place would be lucky to have me.

Making awesome sammiches goes directly against subway policy. I am pretty sure the goal of Subway is to undermine the idea of a sandwich to the point where it is just some shitty bread, some slime that has been sitting around in a bin for way too long, and pretend fillings that are mostly derived from soylent green. Any skill you have in making pleasant sandwiches will be beaten from you in their sammich training camps.

Or at least that is what I have determined has to be the case having actually purchased Subway before.

As my scientific evidence I present our local subway sammich artist @Steal Your Face .

Dumbest AI Stunt of the Week: A Robot George Carlin Standup Special

It occurs to me that there's one thing that will be almost impossible for an AI to duplicate when it comes to someone like Carlin or any other artist: It can't be shaped by things that it's struggling to create in a satisfying form. Every artist has an idea for something that they want to create, but have to figure out how to present. So, they'll work on things similar to what it is they're trying to create, and unconsciously, that struggle will also be reflected in what they do present.

Maybe, in the case of a stand-up, it means dropping a favorite gag from a show because it somehow detracts or distracts from whatever it is that they're working towards. Or, they'll add gags to a show, hoping that it will show them how to get to where they want to go with a routine. An AI will do none of that.

I did think of a good use for AI's ability to swap faces. Imagine in the original Blade Runner (or whichever cut of the film you prefer) that at the start of the film, you had Rutger Hauer's face as it was in the movie. Then, as the film goes along, AI swaps out his face for older and older versions of Rutger, ending with how he looked in his final years of life. That would really add to the sense of him falling apart and dying.

Fuck that asteroid tractor beam thing, I am thinking AI can clean the place out and then be programmed to seed the next wave of life. I think the rich idiots are all over this scenario and just waiting to light up before the apocalypse.

I'm surprised AI is doing well enough at coding to be used in game development - I've used it to write Python and R scripts for some tasks but largely related to handling big datasheets or DNA sequence files. Even then, it's taken some prompting to refine the code as it wouldn't quite work right on the first few attempts. I've even asked ChatGPT if it could write a crossword solver, but it noped out.

It just occurred to me that this gives new hope to the idea of interacting with a computer that sounds like Majel Barrett.
