I didn't complain about the thread....I had issue with Chad's post trying to associate Dayton with being a rapist when some parent searches his name. That could be materially damaging to Dayton if it's seen and believed and has no basis in reality. Yeah, he says it's a joke now, but this isn't a roast and it's obvious what Chad was trying to do with it despite his "Relax, it's a joke" backpedalling.

Chup put nothing in the title that hasn't been well known here for years. There is no new information there or any implications than he thinks he's a cunt...so what? Normal Red Room material, even if the intent is kind of shitty.

As for Dayton "being tricked" into revealing...well, anything...that is BS. His own attempt to trick Chad into getting himself warned or banned backfired. Why he thought he could give permission to post something and we would still punish the poster if he didn't like it was bizarre logic. He hoisted himself on his own petard there.

It occurred to me just now that Dayton is quite possibly the greatest troll of all time. Consider the sheer number of threads started in his honor, or corrupted in his honor. Consider how he uses the full graphic truth of his personal life, openly providing full details about his name, location, and job, to advance his trolling. Do you know anyone else on the Internet that does this?

I tend to agree.. or at the least change the title of the thread so it doesn't have his middle initial and last name.

You don't even have to include the middle initial if you just make sure to include "teacher" and "Arkansas" and it will still be around the second result. The more people Google it (and click on the Google result), the higher it will climb. I think you guys checking for this thread on Google are doing nothing but helping El Chup out.

I concur, light moderation is one thing...but allowing something specifically designed to hurt someone in the real world is way over the line. The fact that this thread has been allowed to stay kinda makes me less impressed with the management here.
