I don't really have a feel on this one. Lots of early signs that the Dems might hold serve, but a huge windfall of dark money and it's getting pretty close. Senate 52D(I)/48R House 230 R 215 D. Hard to beat the level of gerrymandering being done.
The one saving grace could be that Republicans did so much extreme gerrymandering after 2010 that there were very few states that they had the ability to ratfuck any more than they already had, and in some states voters took that power away from them.
I forgot to tell you about our fabulous prizes. This year, all of our prizes are books written by some of our celebrated Wordforge authors. The pack includes: Density is Beautiful: Why Urban Living is the Wave of the Future by @Uncle Albert The Wonderful World of Cars: How Single-Person Transportation Made America Great by @Ancalagon The Enemy Within: How Cookies, Guns and Showers are Destroying our Society by @Man Afraid of his Shoes Actually, I Think Jeeps are Pretty Cool by @Tererun Eighteen hours left!
well, I did help turn a jeep cherokee into a paintball tank and it was easy enough to bring back to working condition after being totaled. I never did suck a trump loving libertarian sycophant's cock in it like @Jenee , but I did have an opportunity to have done such a thing. My standards were a little bit too high, and that is saying something considering the cocks I have sucked.
I WAS HACKED! The above was not posted by me therefore my earlier prediction is the one that should be counted.
For the record, it is not yet mathematically possible to declare a winner. It is, however, mathematically possible for either @MikeH92467 or @Order2Chaos to achieve what I believe would be this contest's first-ever perfect score.
Yeah, I didn't really think Pennsylvania would vote for a rock and at the time of prediction, it was looking like Republicans would take the senate. I flew too high on this one.
Is it possible that the voters of Pennsylvania are smart enough to realize that the short-term effects of a stroke on a person's speech are not, in fact, indicative of that person's mental ability? This might be a sign that you shouldn't be quite so eager to swallow Tucker Carlson's talking points hook, line and sinker.
Early trends out of Georgia are...very early... but Kornacki's big board numbers which consist of early/absentee votes show very positive results for Warnock. Did I mention that it's (very) early?
Republicans convincing their base that early voting is evil may have been useful for its initial purpose -- setting Trump up to be able to howl about fraud -- but seems like it might be seriously biting them in the ass going forward. There's a reason both parties used to put a lot of emphasis on getting their supporters to vote early. Early votes are to campaigns what presales are to concert venues.
If I'm not mistaken, all the results are in now, yes? Or do we need to wait for the special House election in VA to declare a winner after the election day winner died?
It is especially important in states like WA where voter info is publicly available to campaigns. It allows them to better target last minute persuasion and GOTV efforts on those who haven’t voted. I have been lit drop shamed by one of my own volunteers for wasting volunteer time and money by not voting early. Like literally he got out a sharpie and wrote me a note on the door hanger!
We have a winner! With a perfect Senate score and a House guess only two votes away from the near-certain end result, @MikeH92467 is our champion. Some sources still have Bobo the Clown's race as uncalled, but she's leading and there's no reason to believe the legally mandated recount will change that. Donald McEachin (D-Va.) dying doesn't change anything, because the contest was about who would win, not who would be seated in January. The final standings -- assuming that Bobo the Clown wins -- are: @MikeH92467 -- 2 points @Ancalagon -- 5 points @Order2Chaos -- 7.35 points @Bill Carson -- 14.05 points @Demiurge -- 12.35 points @TheLonelySquire -- 54.4 points
