Still in wait for the producers' response. We've been doing all sorts of development since then on Space Pirates, and our other two concepts, Ninjas and Suits.

But yeah, just working crazy on storyline and characters. Right now we're getting ready to hit it heavy on development of villians and backgrounds.

I kinda expected him to be green.

Also, he's a rather spidery fellow, is he not?

He's a species which is a sort of cross between an arachnid and an amphibian.

We're still toying around with a good name for the species.

When they're young, they're much more amphibious, as Cybrus is. As they grow older, as in the case of Cybrus's uncle Matterix, shown here:

They take on a much more arachnid-like appearance. They're pads become sticky claws, they grow pines, their color gets darker, there's facial sagging, and their two tongues develop into the mandable you see of Matterix.

When they're young, the two tongues allow them to speak english, but as they age and their mandables develop, they must use their native language.

The Space Pirates BluWiki page is finally organized. Complete with a Table of Contents and everything.

It doesn't just look like a bunch of text and some images anymore.

Some new stuff, including a few new characters.

First off, Lin (A.K.A. Madame Tink.) She runs a brothel out of her tailoring business.

Eli Steinwitz, who you've seen before.

Two more new characters, Frédérique and Jean-Pierre. Frédérique and Jean-Pierre are two dirty frenchmen that run/are slaves of the cargo hold.

And last, a view from one of the Dreadknot's two mast elevators. This particular one leads up to the ill-placed Captain's Quarters.

Visit the web site at http://thedreadknot.tripod.com/

It's just a cheap starter site, but it looks good enough, and it offers fans everything they really need, all in one place.

    We do what we can.

The website is practically done, ready for just standard updates.

The only empty page is the artwork page, and I placed a link to the wiki artwork page in place, until I can get to loading all the artwork. I'll probably do it little bit at a time.

The cast biographies are done for all the main characters listed on the biographies page, excluding Vladik, Deborah, Eli, and Eddie. Eli is the only important character without a complete biography.

There are pictures for each, though.

Characters that arent listed will be up soon, including Nexis, Matterix, Alphum, Seryozha, Rocket Whale, Otto and Inga, Mr. Glidden, Christopher Walken, and the blobs.

Also to be added are the archangels: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Barachiel, Seatiel, and Jehudiel. All of whom are represented by certain cast members, revealed to the viewers only at the end of the series, as the apocalypse is triggered early.

Hey dude, whatever came of you pitching the concept for a show? Did they stonewall you or is it in limbo, or what?

In limbo with the producers of Adult Swim. Still talking pretty frequently with the Birdman staff, though.

That would be cool, however the amount of time it takes to get all the funding, and create the first season puts the show's premiere air date somewhere around a year or two from the date of agreement.

We'll just have to see what happens, because this cartoon isn't a small project, especially for the types of shows they generally air on Adult Swim. It lends itself more towards The Venture Bros. as far as animated quality goes. And even then, some of the action sequences are going to require great amounts of time to complete the way we think they need to be done.

But all that will be discussed if and when the producers agree to fund and air the show.

The pure simplicity and beauty of the rocket whale made me shed a very manly tear.

Rocket Whale...spawned from the depths of Choir room white-board in a semi-bored, flippant, careless, non-thinking attempt from one young Matthew Gambill to contribute something to the Nocturne's expansive doodlings...and for some reason probably remains the NocOVladJazzz's favorite thing he's done.

In all it's beautiful simplicity, it still leaves me feeling like a douche. haha

(just kidding Dave, long live Rocket Whale!)

I do so love Rocket Whale. There was just something about that face. That oblivious little smirk. Those adorable beady eyes...

And the rocket shoved in his ass.

Aside from my love of senseless things, like a rocket-propelled hump back whale shooting forever through space and time.

Oh, we plan on having a lot of ridiculous images slathered all over clothes.

Rocket Whale is assuredly one of them.

Playing around with a logo creator, came up with a pretty decent one for Petty Torture Productions.
