The thought of them being transported by drones made me think of this:

    Fighting wieners from the sky,
    Fearless dogs who never cry,
Pups who sniff out all the drugs,
Just for bacon snacks and hugs!
    :salute:

Oh my, she spotted us. I guess no one can get anything by her. BTW what is in that thing she recorded this shit on? A tracking chip that has a number associated with her so she can do commerce?

If there was ever the mark of the beast it would be the fucking smart phone.

    Good. :bailey:

Fuck this gender reveal nonsense. More people need to die who engage in this stupid activity. It would help chlorinate the human gene pool.

Sadly, this isn't unique to the USA, but it is symptomatic of Western capitalist culture when you are the working poor. And yet capitalist governments say they want to make work pay. What they MEAN is they want to perpetuate the "work gives you pride" bullshit whilst that same work DOESN'T pay.

I tried to get my lab tech promoted to Grade 6 (she's top of Grade 5 and stuck there) but the modest pay bump would have also knocked out her child benefits, whilst not adding enough to her paycheck to cover the loss.

This woman has a Ph.D, by the way, but chose the lab tech position because it has more job security than post-doccing (which is normally a 3 year contract). She gets paid ~$33k a year.

any bets on how much money they lose within five years of hitting the tracks? I think it would be hard to even narrow it down to millions versus billions let alone getting it right on the mark. Just sayin'

That, BTW, is the Confederate submarine the CSS Hunley. The crew died on its only mission because of a lucky shot by a sailor on a Union ship.

When I was in, 91 through 95, a friend of mine in a different unit told me about an incident in her unit. She said her First Sergeant advised the victim to not press charges - to think of his career. :wtf: Which, I thought was an odd response when the attacker wasn't thinking of his own career. But, whatever. Anyway, I had a pretty good repour with my own First Sergeant so I told him about it and he said he would have advised the same thing. I was shocked. I never looked at him the same again.

A couple years ago, there was a push to bring sexual assault in the military out into the open. Apparently, it's still just as bad as it was 30 years ago.

Greatest video ever? Guy with the bike is guilty of assault. You don't get to do that just because you hear something you dislike. Guy in the car would have been 100% justified in beating his ass down.

Pull your heads out of your own sphincter-scented echo chambers and consider the same scenario, but with words you like coming out of the bullhorn.

Yea. You can object, say whatever, make vulgar finger gestures. You don’t get to assault anyone - that includes assholes driving into protesters.

Dude on the megaphone can go press charges with the police. Just a couple of problems. The police have to go catch the guy on the bike which might be hard. The other problem is the dude in the car is probably guilty of disturbing the peace. I am pretty sure the driver is obstructing traffic which is why we hear people honking at him while he drives slowly in a traffic lane. But they can take their chances and press charges. I am sure the police are going to get right on that.

If it makes you feel any better insurance will take care of the window as long as he is paying for glass coverage. I would say if you are going to go out and antagonize people like that upgrade your insurance and pay the extra coup[le of dollars to get glass coverage. Windows are expensive.
