I loved to read the little quips at the end of articles in Reader's Digest. There's nothing like that on Twitter.

Some of my favorite quips -

"Ever notice the second baby is not as fragile as the first?"

Yeah, a lot of the appeal in RD was the little anecdotes and quips, especially as the rest of the magazine started heading toward "indistinguishable from any other magazine" by churning out diet articles and the like every single month.
