He really does not have to pitch for that @Steal Your Face dollar so hard.

How long before FF comes in here to tell us all how right he was because Joe Rogfan and Fuicker Carlson both confirmed his delusional obsession with being abducted and anal probed. It wasn't aliens, it was the priest that fucked you until your butthole bled.

The government had a proposed program to reverse engineer UFOs that they scrapped.
    I like this little bit.
You didn't look in the right places dummies. Look into Bigelow Aerospace.
For something that doesn't exist, why have a proposed plan?
    https://www.newsnationnow.com/space/ufo/what-kona-blue-do-ufos-exist/

If you read the unclassified document they explain the project where they were going to do experiments at Skinwalker Ranch, they were going to have a medical center which would research people who have been injured by the UFOs, they wanted to have a remote viewing station, the set up the structure of the program so DHS->Company X (Bigelow Aerosace I'm guessing)->Company Y (Lockeed Martin? Skunkworks?) ->Advanced Tech, Consciousness Center, and Integration Center. Looks like Harry Reid was behind the funding. He also knew about the ATIP program that the Pentagon said didn't exist until it came out later that it did. How much do you wanna bet that this program was renamed and approved later on?
    Lots more at the link.

For a guy who claims to treat this stuff like it's merely entertainment, you sure do seem eager post shit when you think it'll confirm your biases.

Now, I haven't yet had time to read the whole 56 pages of the PDF that's been linked to, but I did download it and do a search for "UAP." That initialism doesn't exist in it. "Unidentified" appears once, on page 24, and doesn't pertain to UFOs. Here's a couple of screengrabs of things from the document that I did find interesting:

Notice the phrase "Advanced Technology"? Yeah, that's pretty generic. It could literally mean anything from the electronics attached to a Chinese spy balloon to alien technology. That's a pretty broad fucking range. If, for example, the Chinese (or other nation) happened to use the first fully functional computer chips for the next Intel/AMD, Apple, or some other tech company that hadn't gone on sale to the general public yet, but were scheduled to do so in the next year, those would qualify as "advanced technology."

This next one's the kicker, though:

See that phrase "global emerging"? Yeah, that means they think that it's possible some nation on Earth might reveal tech that the US wasn't prepared for, or didn't think that particular nation had. No need for fucking aliens.

I'll also point out that the US has plans to deal with attacks by zombies. Are you going to argue that this means the US government knows that zombies are real and is covering up the fact? Because if you are, I really want to hear that story.

Finally, I'll just point out that you're someone who thinks that Majestic 12 is real, and that this is a sooper-seckret thing so highly classified that no President knows anything about it. Yet, somehow, somebody doing a FOIA request was able to get the government to cough up "proof" that they're planning on reverse-engineering alien tech. This is as fucking stupid as those sovereign citizen idiots who think that by pointing out that the flag in the courtroom has gold fringe on it, the whole proceedings are invalid.

It is a good thing he makes sammiches for a living because the people at Roswell do not deserve his presence.

I finally got around to the John Oliver piece on UFOs and he got most of the history right, but failed to mention the New York Times piece on the UFOs over the White House in the 50s. It was pretty good and he's right that we do need a real, serious scientific investigation into the 10% of UFOs that truly can't explained. That's what most UFO people including myself want and me personally I'm fine with mundane answers. What I'm not fine with is blatantly bullshit answers like the ones he highlighted in his piece. He also failed to mention that the gimble UFO, the one where the pilot says, "my gosh!"has yet to be explained and Lou Elizando, the guy who John Oliver says appears to be legit, says there's a longer version of that video that shows a lot more extraordinary things. If that's true, I want to see it. Good on John Oliver for taking this seriously and hopefully this gets more people more interested in this subject.

It did seem like we were making progress towards disclosure, but the problem is that certain people in congress are stonewalling other people in congress that wants to get to the bottom of this. To the point that even Chuck Shumer couldn't even get legislation that would have allowed a lot of the stigmatism to go away and would have allowed pilots to come forward with anominity. The other problem is the Air Force. As he pointed out, they don't want to look weak. The Navy seems to be more forthright.Lastly, you have people like @Tuckerfan who seems eager to just say everything is man made and there's nothing to it or just turn another thread into his personal meme thread and make fun of the subject matter.

But, remember, folks, he doesn’t take this seriously. It’s all just lighthearted fun, like talking about your favorite TV show.
