It’s really a bizarre notion to assume that any variation of human genes is defective, especially ones that do not cause any harm. Variation in genetics is just part of nature, it’s what drives evolution. I’m not saying that trans people are some new species, but just part of the normal variations of humanity since they seem to be fairly common among the population like gay people, left handed people, and other random kinds of people. Roughly half the population has a gene that makes cilantro taste bad to them, using Dinner’s “logic” they’re defective too. It’s really just claiming that there is only one way to be a human and there’s something wrong if you aren’t like that. It’s the same idea the tried to claim that white people were superior to other races and had the same amount of scientific accuracy.

Interestingly, to add to @Nova and @BizarroEnt's pointing out the fundamental failure to understand statistical distribution illustrated by the phrase "objectively normal", the anthropoligical terms "alpha" and "beta" in reference to male behaviour are also currently misused a great deal.

To group males as "alpha" and "beta" as though they represent two sides of a coin is to completely misunderstand what the terms mean, no male is objectively either and in any all male group there is typically one dominant character who is the "alpha male".

That person might be larger, more intelligent, more charismatic or likeable than the others and is thus the alpha male. It's a singular concept, it precludes there being numerous instances in any given instance. It also has nothing to do with political opinions and everything to do with being attractive, emotionally secure, confident, all traits which are hard to associate with incel misogyny. Typically a male with alpha tendencies is entirely comfortable with strong females because he doesn't feel threatened by them, he values them. They are also kind, considerate and accepting of weakness in others, because they can afford to be.

Anyone who declares with absolute certainty "I am an alpha male" had better be 7 foot tall, shredded, impossibly sexy with a 200 plus IQ and the sort of social skills and graces that make James Bond look clumsy and awkward, else they are either not getting what the term means or simply delusional.

Lefty liberal had wringing Hollywood is full of men who exhibit these traits to varying degrees, charismatic, dominant, attractive, physically dominant. Please feel free to tell Brad Pitt or Vin Deisel they are "beta cucks".

"Beta" is a term that actually refers to the majority of males in any group and is not determinant in nature. A male may be alpha in one group but beta in another, neither is particularly an insult, merely an acknowledgement of behavioural dynamics. It doesn't make him soft, effeminate, weak or inherently a victim, merely a member of the human race.

Closer to the concept of beta currently being bandied around is the "omega male", a relatively rare type defined by inadequacy so acute it lead to failing to function within the usual social dynamics at all. Such males are commonly very aggressive and overcompensatory in their behaviour, abusive to anyone they perceive as weaker and prone to physically and mentally dominating others in an attempt to make up for their shortcomings in terms of genuine influence. Such males are likely to be quite hostile to groups they feel they should be superior to, such as women, gay people, the disabled, children, small animals. Such males are the stuff of serial killers, rapists and child abusers. Prisons are full of them, bottom feeding off the lowest end of the swamp dwelling elements of society, they are also very much what we commonly call "incels".

Seriously, what kind of human being believes defining oneself by anger and resentment at failing to attract sexual partners is a serious political protest?

An omega male craves alpha status but will rarely achieve it, so attempts to adopt what they perceive as masculine traits but becomes a parody of frustration and failure.

Peter Pettigrew in the Harry Potter series is an example of such a character and is pretty much how I picture some of the people posting here, weak, inadequate creatures who can't understand why the world doesn't treat them with the adoration they believe is their birthright and thus vent hate, spite and venom at those whose lives are defined by something more than loneliness and bitterness.

It's hard at times not to put Trump in the same category.

I have heard of trans negative gays, but I have never seen enough to ruin pride, or even really make much difference. I think the only real problem is when the trans starts to become the focus because gays don't fully get the trans thing over all. They are as a group much better educated on it, but there is a reason I don't date gay guys even though they seem to be open to it. They want the cock. Most do not want a person who is not wanting to use it so much. It is a sexual enjoyment of theirs.

But really they are very open events. I would certainly invite straight people there as they are normally very accepting and fun even if you are straight. The people who are not wanted are the ones who would be nasty to the community, but it is not a place of non inclusion. The only problem I would say you could find at a pride event would be that there is a lot of touching and grabbing. Straight men are often not used to getting their ass grabbed in a complimentary manner and it is possible it is going to happen. A lot of gay guys will keep it to people they know, but I cannot guarantee it. You have to sort of take it like a woman in a straight bar. Most guys won't grab your ass, but there are a few who will and you can give them the stare of death and a hell no, but you don't get to punch them in the face for insulting your manhood. You will also have to learn to accept having your looks complimented and not be offended.

Being at a gay event as a straight guy could be a way for you to understand the right ways to approach women because you will see it from the other end. It is actually requires practice to say no without being an ass about it. Having been on both sides I find it tiresome in both ways.

Whilst I'm on a rant about shit misuse of terminonolgy in popular culture, the word "cuck" is commonly seen these days to refer to a male who is for whatever reason unable to maintain a relationship with a female who is faithful, implying he is inadequate as a consequence. It's a reference to the brood parasitic reproductive strategy of the cuckoo, which lays it's eggs in the nest of other birds in order to trick them into raising their young.

It's a behaviour which in nature involves a female of one species tricking a female of another species, not dominance behaviour between males of the same species, cuckolding actually has very little to do with male behaviour at all, but obviously that doesn't stop thick people bleating out words they don't understand the meaning of.

So, again I ask: What can you do to rein in the pseudoChristians like Flashy? I ask the same thing about legitimate gun owners and psycho killers, BTW, and the answer is inevitably (q.v. @evenflow) "Not my problem!" (Whereas @oldfella1962 prefers to spend pages tap-dancing.)

This I don't know and it's a legitimate problem. It suits a certain mindset to see a religion in terms of a series of commandments and prescriptions which bypass the need to actually think about the world and one's actions and place in it, commonly whilst conveniently disregarding the commandments which don't suit. Cognitive dissonance need not apply.

How many Christians do we see who go to great lengths to find scraps of text which support their objections to homosexuality, but happily disregard the great big "Thou Shall Not Kill" in neon flashing lights, essentially because they believe war and all the associated misery, loss, pain and suffering to be fun/heroic/politically expedient for a major developed nation, but have a personal distaste for someone sharing a bed with a member of the same sex?

People read what they want into religious texts and at times almost spectacularly miss the point. This is nothing new and I'm not seeing how we can make it stop, we can't change human nature and we can't outlaw religion.

I don't feel the need to police what someone else says on the internet, but if he posts something I disagree with I'll comment on it. What I do believe is that the OP put his faith in this group and posted this in the RR. He shouldn't be heckled for it.

In some seriousness god is not like a manager or priest in accordance with that faith. God is an omnipotent being who created and guides the universe. It does not have human weakness as a human authority would. God would know things we could not. Therefor it would be wrong for a person to decide god does it so I can do it as god does while still regarding the faith as correct. That is one I would give the christians if it was not for the reality the church teaches it is OK for man to kill as god as long as you kill who the church leaders want to kill. God said not to kill, but the church says it is ok to kill those people so the problem lies mainly in the church in this particular case.
