Boston Legal was great for the ST guest stars-and a couple regulars. Rene Auberjonois, Armin Shimerman, Ethan Phillips, Jeri Ryan, Stephen Culp (Hayes on Ent). I even found a list but it doesn't identify all the Trek roles. Also guest shots of Gina Torres and Katey Sagal.
Oh, I also got The Naked City (1962) on DVD recently. The second ep on the disk stars Shatner as the suspect. One of the witnesses is Lokai, Lou Antonio. And Shat's psychiatrist was Theodore Bickel, Worf's human daddy.
They keep rolling in! A threefer on the ep of It Takes a Thief I just watched: LORD Garth and Stonn question Commodore Mendez:
Michael J. Fox had a short character arc as well, if I'm not mistaken. So there's another science fiction tie-in, if you consider BTTF to be science-fiction.
I was watching an episode of magnum PI the other night, and Marc Alaimo was the baddie. Come to think of it, I think Lance LeGault was in that episode, too.....
Jeri Ryan was featured in last night's episode of Body of Proof. She took the lead role for this episode, and she did a great job.
hmm never been very good with names but 'odo' was in a episode of stargate a clone leader or something. george takei -sulu was in green berets. 'quark' was in buffy pretty often ( series rather then actually in her ) o brien was in a die hard film-- 2nd one i think gates macfadden - - crusher was in red october oh and i think denise crosby was in pitch dark voice starring that i have memories of are from star trek online denise crasboy and leonard nimoy. saints row 2 worf- mr dorn
Remember that late Summer flick from 1990, "Taking Care of Business"? BOTH Q and Dr. Crusher were in that, even in scenes together iirc. There may have been other Trektors & Trektresses in it, but I can't recall now!
oh missed a couple marc alimo?- gul dukat- was in total recall marina sitirs - troi was in stargate too playing a russian scientist
Marc Alaimo is also in the Dirty Harry movie The Dead Pool. He's one of imprisoned crime boss Janero's thugs who are tailing Harry. When Harry surprises the thugs and beats the crap out of them, Alaimo's character reveals that they're actually shadowing Harry in order to protect him. "We're your...bodyguards," he says. (Janero was trying to have Harry killed earlier, but Harry, bluffing, said that if anything bad were to happen to him, another prisoner--"Butcher" Hicks--would kill Janero. Hence, the bodyguards.)
Staying with my TOS bent - The lovely Mrs. Khan guesting on a Man From Uncle: She played the wife of a Latin American dictator. In a really weird moment, he called her "my beloved wife" in exactly the same tone and accent Montalban would use around 15 years later!
Michael Dorn was in CHiPs... always in a car. what's up with that? I hear Dorn owns an effin' f-86!!! Why the hell wouldn't he get on a KZ?
Oh, right, right, this thread. Okay, here goes.... Trek actors on Greatest American Hero... Marc Alaimo (Gul Dukat) Andrew Robinson (Garak) Michael Ensign (the hotel owner in "Ghostbusters", the real estate agent in "House", a guest star on all TNG-era Treks, but is especially remembered as Krolo in "First contact") Bill Quinn (McCoy's father in STV) John Hancock (Admiral Haden, TNG) John Anderson (Kevin Uxbridge in "The Survivors") Jeremy Kemp (Picard's brother in "Family")
Does anyone watch The Neighbors? George Takei had a pretty funny part on last week's episode, which I think is the season finale.
Saw a 4th season Man From UNCLE yesterday featuring Dr. Daystrom and Stonn! The funny thing was that William Marshall played a brilliant scientist with a game-changing invention. This aired 4 months before The Ultimate Computer.
