Less than a week. Wish I'd open up a pool as to when the new mod was going to show he's just as unfair and partial as Tamar.

Obviously, requesting action by Paladin and Bailey was also pointless ...

While I agree El Chup needs to calm down (he's having such a fit he's actually taking attention away from visionrazor), its also obvious Maude is trying to fuck with him. He of course has that right under board rules, but again its pretty obvious what he is doing with the BW avs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Tamar say earlier in this thread that this is a bannable offense?

This is like that whole Ray-Gate incident where Jamie put those pictures of stingrays, devil rays, ray charles, etc. If the member didn't call to attention those were related to his RL name, no one would have picked it up.

It might be a dick move, but it's not bannable or warnable, IMO.

As far as I know, Tamar said this is allowed, though it is another dick move. However, as soon as it gets to the point where it breaks the board or causes some other mishap related to the software, that person will be banned. (Same as if someone tried to hack the board.)

    So ... more indecisive BS.

Or is because Sokar is "protected".

It's a good thing I can stay within the rules of my own accord, cuz I don't think I can kiss that much ass.

And why shouldn't I fuck with him? With the John Castle avatar and sig, why not post a Barry White or Bruce Willis avatar and give him a little taste of his own medicine?

Why would you make that into a PDF when a JPG or PNG could have been visible immediately in your post?

If she used a screencapping application called Skitch to grab the image, she would then have had to export it -- she probably intended to export it as .JPG and selected .PDF without intending to or noticing.

Are keyboards no longer made with a Print Screen button?

Depends on whether she's using a Mac or a PC. My guess was based on using a Mac, where you can either use the built-in Grab app or something a little more powerful from a third party. My third-party solution is Skitch for the built-in editing tools. Screenshot something, mark it up with arrows, text and/or whatever else, then upload or export it. Pretty nice.

Sorry, back to your question: No, Mac keyboards don't have Print Screen.

I hereby declare Zombie to be the only person in this thread who's making the slightest damn bit of sense.

Actually, he pretty much hit the batik on the head and there's nothing to add to it. And by batik I mean nail, but that particular Swype autocorrect was too weird to change.

Yikes. An overpriced computer with no Print Screen button? Next you'll be telling me there's no right-click button. :bailey:

I see what you did there! Actually, though, Macs have at that capability since the Mighty Mouse. (Don't look at me, I didn't name the thing.) And on the Magic Trackpad (Didn't name that, either) clicking with two fingertips instead of one counts as a right-click.

Yeah, just found that out. I thought Macs were still on the Alt+Click (or whatever) system. Still, it requires two fingers when one would do just fine. :bailey:

Also, am I the only one who misses those weird pencil eraser type things that used to sit in the middle of a laptop keyboard? I loved controlling my mouse cursor with that thing (in certain situations, it had its advantages).

I was at work and not paying too much attention. But the screenshot was more of the usual Sokar rep bombing with the same image over and over in two consecutive posts.

I was confused about that, too, when people told me about them. "They don't crash" really threw me for a loop. How can you have a computer that doesn't crash? That's like a Jehovah's Witness that won't knock on doors! Inconceivable!
