Trolling and flaming in the Green Room

Take a look in the Red Room, at the thread on the possibility of Catalan secession. Not a trolling post from me in there at all. A couple of people have taken to following me around being dicks, Red Room, Green Room, Help Desk, they'll follow me around trolling in any subforum they please. They don't care where they're trolling -- nor will the admins give them any reason to, apparently. But I'm not the one pushing this on.

Point being, continuing to not push this forward is already not working.

So, because you have a change of heart, everyone else is supposed to change for you.

You're just going to have to live with the consequences of your actions.

Next time you feel the urge to troll someone, don't.

Do you actually have any instances in mind of trolling on my part that warrants this? Or are you just taking it on faith that there must be some?

I've never denied trolling. I asked her if she knew of any instances of trolling that would merit your and gul's behavior, specifically following me around trolling and flaming in just about every forum I post in. Because although I've gone overboard, I sure don't have a monopoly on going overboard in this.

However, if you really need to know why people feel like giving you such banter, I would refer to this thread from earlier this you, which made you pull one of your usual fits and lock your John Castle account (the very same one you just reopned now that you locked your skinofevil account).

I would contend -- well, actually, I have been -- that there's something very wrong with board rules being conditional.

You have just boxed yourself into a corner by foolishly saying the pics aren't you. You've given them an out with which to beat on you mercilessly without fear of getting in trouble for it.

If they aren't you then it doesn't matter according to Tamar.

If they are you then you can't prove it without being ballsy enough to send a cease and desist letter to Lanzman. In which case they should be made to take the pics down and you should be permanently banned for threatening legal action against the board.

Really at this point your best bet is to just stop. Admit you've lost. Suck it up. Go and post. You make claims of changing your behavior. Well do it. At some point if the others involved in this retarded drama don't stop it will just look bad on them.

You realize that's nonsense, of course. Even if I had said, from the beginning, that the photos are of me, nothing is still what would be done about it. I tend to agree with your earlier assessment that the reason nothing is being done about it is that I'm unpopular. That very certainly makes enforcement of the rules contingent on a poster's popularity.

I disagree. If you had always maintained they were pics of you then Tamar would be hard pressed to claim they weren't trolling you because she can't say the photos are actually you. She still might try it but she might find more people openly calling her on it.

And popularity doesn't play a big role in rule enforcement. Tasvir a very unpopular poster was blatantly banned over a rule change that came out of no where and the mod who did it got bitch slapped for it by a whole lot of people. None of which were fans of Tasvir. It was the fact a mod made a rule up on the spot and used that to ban Tasvir that caused the problem.

They are trolling you (I believe the pics are you) but since you've claimed the pics aren't you they are off the hook.

She, and every other Wordforge poster in the Wordforge group on Facebook, knows perfectly well that the photos are of me. And since those same posters have no issue with bringing information here from Facebook, they have no excuse for pretending otherwise. So like I said, it's still just very, very thin rationalization on their parts.
