But what is that? A trillion dollar market cap right there who filed lawsuits? Probably more.

Honestly, government is not that hard. But you need a brain first. And you need people around you that aren't there to push their own agenda. Trump needs to clean house.

The immigration act of 1952 which reads: “Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

Which is why Washington and Minnesota tried to claim it was a "Muslim ban", when it clearly is not (unfortunately), and that it violated the anti discrimination statutes of 1965. That is clearly fallacious and the president clearly has the power to do this.

If the President wants to do so he could declare all gingers to be an abomination and ban noncitizen gingers tomorrow and it would be perfectly legal.

Actually, no. The 1965 statute states "No person shall receive any preference or priority or be discriminated against in the issuance of an immigrant visa because of the person’s race, sex, nationality, place of birth, or place of residence."

Nothing about religion there.

Now, yes, "Legally speaking, immigrants are those who are given permanent United States residency. By contrast, temporary visitors like guest workers, students and tourists, as well as refugees, could still be barred.". Trump cannot place additional burdens on those seeking permanent US residency - or those who already hold it - or he's breaching the 1965 statute.

The problem is we already do give preference and discriminate against potential immigrants based upon national origin. We have a quotation system for how many visas are issued to various countries and have had this since the 1870's. This has been found legal by the SCOTUS.

Found legal because the quota is 7% applied equally to all, hence not preferential or discriminatory.

This weakens us. As I've pointed out the TPP was about making sure the 21st Century Economy was built American. There is a reason China was excluded, so that they would be forced to operate under our terms.

This is the same tired bullshit that Obama was using to sell the TPP. The TPP was, of course, nothing of the sort- it was an investor protection deal which among other things enabled corporations to take sovereign governments to court for passing laws that might have cut their profits.
