Trumpite Americans, when will you finally acknowledge your leader is a joke?

Trump was always a joke. He said some stuff in 16 that I liked, some stuff I didn't, but mostly I voted against HRC. It was worth getting him in the White House just to keep her out. I approved of his actions more than I disapproved, although I detested his self-aggrandizing and his diarrhea of the Twitter keyboard and his nonsense of calling world leaders stuff like Rocket Man (NK's Kim Jong Un).

Where he lost me was over the bumpstock ban when he outright ordered the ATF to ignore the law and regulate them according to his wishes simply because he didn't want them in citizens' hands, despite not being illegal. But what really got me was when he said he didn't care about Due Process when it came to grabbing guns, as though Due Process is just an inconvenience.

And since I refuse to vote for someone to be the chief executive of a government founded expressly to preserve our rights who vocally said he didn't care about our rights, and I certainly wasn't going to vote for Biden, I just didn't vote in 20.

    I'm done voting.

Nothing red-flaggy about a gun nut saying he's fed up with democracy.
    Nope.

I didn't say I'm fed up with democracy. I said I'm not voting for someone who comes right out and says our rights don't matter.

Would you vote for someone who said Due Process gets in the way so he's doing away with the need for warrants for wire tapping or was getting rid of jury trials?

No, I didn't think Hillary was the greater of two evils because of right-wing brainwash, so that's not something I had to struggle with.

OK, let's hear more about this.

Or you could explain why Hillary was SO much worse than anything Trump could have done.

First off, Michael Moore was right when he said Trump's election was going to be a huge "fuck you" to the establishment. Normal people were sick of business as usual. That spoke to people who felt like they were just used and abused by DC.

The biggest thing I wanted out of Trump was for him to drain the swamp. I wanted him to make sure there would never be another Lois Lerner turning the IRS against political opponents. I wanted him to make sure there would never be another Operation Fast and Furious, where we flooded Mexico with guns to increase the cartel violence so that we could pass gun control here. I wanted to make sure we never had another case where the FBI director covered for a presidential candidate by killing an investigation and then saying "no reasonable prosecutor" when that wasn't his call to make. While everyone paying attention knew the establishment would push back, I don't think anyone expected the GOP to fight Trump tooth and nail the way it did. (Never mind McCain stopping the attempt to kill Obamacare because he was pissed at Trump and was a petulant child.)

As a aside, I think the GOP likes not being in power. It's easier to do nothing except pretend to fight back and keep begging for campaign contributions the whole time. When they control Congress they are expected to do stuff and don't. And once they were out of power, then, and only then, did they grandstand about needing to get reelected so they can push Trump's agenda...but first, make sure you send in those checks. Voters generally have a short memory, but they do remember being screwed over. It's part of why the 22 midterms went the way they did. The GOP didn't do what they said they would when they had both houses of Congress and the WH, so why put them back on Capitol Hill?

As for Hillary, not only was she and her husband tied into all kinds of corrupt stuff during the years in Little Rock and DC (there are tons of good books on the subject, but I really recommend No One Left To Lie To by Christopher Hitchens, a man no one can describe as being on the right), and told so many lies over the years (under fire at the airport in Bosnia when the video shows her meeting and greeting folks on the tarmac and not running for her car like she said for example) and I thought she was completely distrustful. Not to mention just an unlikable person. She hadn't had a real job since being fired from the Watergate investigation for ethics violations until she carpet bagged her way to a Senate seat and that didn't sit right with me. Nor how the Clinton Foundation made a ton of money off of the earthquake in Haiti, funneled it to supporters, and basically did nothing for the country. And while she was in the Senate, what exactly did she do? What's her signature bit of legislation? In eight years, she sponsored three bills that became law: one renamed a highway, one named a post office, and one designated a national historic site and each of these was co-sponsored by Chuck Schumer and passed both houses unanimously. Hardly something to rest her laurels on. She might have introduced other people's bills, and certainly voted on a bunch, but Daniel Webster she wasn't.

Domestically, she promised more of the Obama years, which weren't all that much fun the first time around, so why would I vote for more of that?

After John Edwards and his cheating on his dying wife thing put an end to his 2008 campaign, the deal the DNC kingmakers made was HRC would endorse Obama and make her Sec State until it was her turn in 2016. She was completely inept in that role. Remember Arab Spring where several governments that were either helping up in the War on Terror, or were at least not obstructing us, were overthrown because her boss said it was a good idea and that led to a dead US ambassador on 9/11 (and her boss tried to blame a Youtube video for) and the start of ISIS and a fun civil war in Syria? Or how she didn't hold Malaki's feet to the flame and he went balls deep on the Iraqi Sunnis which meant they flooded ISIS' numbers because they were the only ones willing to stand up for them? Or pissing off the British when she interjected herself into the UK/Argentina diplomatic quagmire over the Falklands and the British told her to stay in her lane? Or her screwing around in the 2011 Haitian election?

As another aside, it amuses me how uptight Americans get at just the thought of foreign powers interfering with our elections when the US has been interfering with other countries' elections, backing coups, and outright invading and replacing governments for over a century now. We do it to them, so why shouldn't they be doing it right back to us?

So, no, I had no faith in her based on her track record and didn't want what she had to sell. I wasn't thrilled about Trump, although I was glad to say "fuck you" to my masters in DC and on Wall Street, and had hoped Trump would be more successful at navigating DC than he ultimately was, but I decided I wouldn't be voting for him again simply based on his disregard for our rights as free men, which is, lest we forget, the entire point of this whole thing in the first place.

The fact that the right didn't vaporize Obama means the right has shitty hackers, or there are no Jewish space lasers to hack.
Fragile right-wing pride won't let them admit to either.
    But it can't be neither.

We've had some shitty Presidents over the years but Trump was the worst one yet.

Trump literally has NO redeeming characteristics.

The only positive thing about Trump or you could say about Trump is that he ISN'T the President right now.

And I don't trust the American electorate in next year's Presidential election one bit.

I could totally see those retards re-electing Trump.

Biden , or whichever Democrat runs for President next year in the event Biden bows out , BETTER win the Presidential election.
