See, now Dayton pos reps this post. He's oblivious to the fact that he's admitting he prefers to fantasise over weapons of death and destruction than care about basic historical knowledge that any competent history teacher should know - and the worst part is he thinks he's clever for it.

Then he claims superiority and says he deserves respect, yet he doesn't even possess basic understanding of why this sort of behaviour makes him look like an idiot and earns derision. Superior my hairy arse.

I am not complaining about a pos rep you buffoon. Read the words of the post and try and digest them Mr. Superior. They are not a complaint. A self proclaimed "excellent history teacher" should be able to understand basic English.

A person who claims to be a lawyer should be able to understand the intent behind rep icons given.

1) Who says they made "radically more money"? You just assumed they did because you got a favourable inheritance and my parents were a taxi driver and hairdresser respectively.

2) You realise that not every job is the same, right? A salaried person cannot just work harder and get in loads more money, which applied to one of my parents for all their working life and the other for half of it. I thought you would have appreciated that give how pitiful your last salary was.

When you repeatedly call the press an enemy of the people you are railing against free speech. But can @Paladin, @Zombie and & @Dayton3 explain to me how this is not the same tactics used by a dictator in waiting and how they can justify the president attacking the First Amendment?

Because "free speech" has to be "fair speech" or it means nothing. And the news media in the United States has not been remotely "fair" since at least the early 1960s.

Being willing to take on the "press" is one reason I support President Trump (and I would wager many other conservatives support him as well). For decades Republican lawmakers have tried a "kinder, gentler" approach to deal with the American press and media while they've done nothing but rail away at Conservatives in general and Republicans in particular

Remember when Vice President Cheney accidentally peppered a hunting companion with some bird shot during a hunting excursion? The guy was barely injured. Yet I remember media outlets howling that "Cheney nearly blew his head off!".

You make it "fair", with more speech, not by trying to shut people up.
