I'll never understand why people from across the pond (Europeans) make such a big deal over an American presidential election anyway. Mexicans sure. Canadians obviously. Even military dependences like Israel it makes sense for them to take a special interest. But the British and mainland Europeans? I thought Europeans always wanted some kind of existence independent of American power and influence? Call it the "Frenchification" of Europe. I was not overly for Hillary aside from her resume being better than most, but she is out for her foundation and she has her legacy. I did that in 2004. I was pissed at everyone that election. But I do not own the world. It is not my job to run it. In reality if it was my job people would not like me even if I did a great job. I get a little tiny indirect vote just like you do. What I do get is to have some fun, to get some love and love people back, and some things no one can take from me. I have been in jail where everything is taken from you, and still I found happy times and people who I actually miss today. I have spent the last few months quieting the political arguments writhe friends and family, and I even lost some old friends because they wanted to fight and I just didnt. Your side won, and you get to gloat. Your combined efforts defeated Hillary. Had it been the other way I would have been gloating also so have at it. However, it is not going to add much to your life. Hillary was not going to add much to mine aside from a few days of mocking you which I am sure I can find another reason for anyway. I have lived long enough to know we get what we get in this life. For as long as it is there and I am alive I will try to find some fun and happiness. I like chaos so if the world blows up and I survive I will find something good until I die. I never had a guarantee in tomorrow to begin with.

It depends on your goals. Yes road rage has excited me in the past, and I have played with people due to their advertised political affiliation. However, I have a different goal. That goal is to undermine the hatred spread by the bigots who support trump. I actually can see a bit of the point of watching the world burn for its ignorance, but that just defines my goal. So I have been out today trying to lift spirits and lower the sting of election defeat and some of the racist celebrations that have occurred. I am one person who does not have a big megaphone, but I am good at what I do. As much as I wanted to hide and lament today I got up and out and made people smile. I will not let my brown people here nothing from me because they will hear from others. I went down and greeted the Americans at the local mosque. I talked to people in the diner who were worried. I sent messages out to my friends who saw the Klan today and told them they are a good part of the world and I am glad they are here. Suck rainbow smile motherfucker.
