The big one this week is Mario Party 8. I've seen promotional boards for it in a few spots this month. I think Nintendo is even bundling it in with a Wii console. Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm is also out, and I've played a few of the Atelier Iris series. They are a French company that insists on making 2D RPGs, even though everyone is doing 3D ones now. But for what they do, the art is pretty good, and has a cutesy charm you just don't get nowadays. I don't think I'll be picking up #3, but if you like 2D RPGs that load fast, you should at least give one of their games a try. Screenshots of the Atelier Iris series below:
Forza 2 (should be) just as big of a launch as Mario Party 8. Shadowrun will also be one the first non-mmo's where you will see consoles vs PCs. It's an FPS, so I have a feeling more mouse/keyboard users will destroy those with gamepads, but we'll see!
