I'm going to come out and simply say it. I don't think Jesus was right on everything. His message, for the most part, is a good message that helps and inspires people. But it doesn't mean he was always right on everything he believed.

It's funny. Even hardcore atheists don't like it when people say Jesus' message is not 100% right. They'll say "Jesus' message was right; it's that god doesn't exist, organized religion is a tool to control people, and Christians are all hypocrites"

There, I said it. Forgive me father, for I have sinned.

He was 47% right, 15% wrong, and 38% undecided.
But parts of Judea demanded a recount.
And I still think Caiaphas rigged the vote.

The message was right. Then the churches decided they knew it better than other people and fucked it up for the rest of humanity.

Paul is, arguably, an extention of "the church".

    Yep.

And that whole "Church" nonsense was their first mistake.

Rather like the american constitution, the koran, the torah and both halves of the bible apply to a world that no longer exists...

We'll never know if Jesus was right or not since no one was around to write down his teachings at the time he said them. So his message has been corrupted by oral re-telling for years before someone decided to write them down, and even then it was further corrupted to include or or dismiss those sayings that the early church didn't agree with.

Jesus may have been right, but his followers fucked it up.

Jesus says give all your money to the poor, follow a charismatic leader, attack all sources of authority, deny political realities, and establish heaven on Earth.

    Jesus 100% right? Absolutely not.

    Jesus 100% left.

I like the Hair soundtrack (I grew up in the 60s, after all). Twyla Tharp's coreography, on the other hand....

Actually rigged votes come from Chicago and Washington state. The Democrats down in Florida are just stupid. Too stupid to rig any vote. :borg:

Nah, I liked Jesus's father better. Yahweh, the feared god of the Old Testament.

Don't let Jesus fool you with that "nice guy" facade. Just because he's not on the "muscle" end of damnation he doesn't get a pass.

If a lawyer works for the Mafia he still contributes to their criminal
enterprise, even if he doesn't pull the trigger. :)

Face it people, Jesus was a hippie!

A long-haired, unwashed, sandal wearing peacenik hippie!

    And a liberal.

He said you should forsake the establishment, pay your taxes, and give all your money to the poor.

I'll be he didn't even own gun!

Hell, it should be the left that worships Him, not the right...

Usually. But Jesus had a very hippie attitude that money was made by the man, so like let the man have it.

If you had any left after giving it all to the poor.

IIRC that attitude of his was more to do with avoiding conflict with the Roman state than anything else.
