Sherman Hemsley dies at 74. Movin' on Up. Sherman and Isabel were two of the best performers, in an era when sit-coms were great.

I'll never forget him as Deacon Fry on "Amen". First episode, the new preacher interviewing with the search committee. Deacon Fry: "Will you agree to preach only what the board of deacons approves?" Reverend: "I just preach the things God moves me to preach." Deacon Fry: "That is the most narrow minded view of religion I've ever heard!!!"
Duh....but only AFTER you've moved on up to the East Side. Also a deluxe apartment in the sky has less atmospheric pressure, thus the moisture evaporates before it gets hot enough to boil. I saw it on a special MythBusters. BTW wasn't the guy from Barney Miller killed on Serenity?
