Well, I was thinking more along the lines as we nominate a mod every [set period of time]. I notice no one has nominated me, and I assume that's because I'm being vetted solely for stage 2.
Since it hasn't been mentioned yet it should also be pointed out that due to the nature of information that is sometimes seen in reported posts (members real names etc) you shouldn't accept a nomination unless you are confident you can withfrain from using Shelter information against other members.
A good list but a distinct lack of European/non-American candidates. There are folk living on this side of the pond you know. So we've had problems with power mad European admins on this board in the past... Cass, Borgs, Chup wants to hijack the board too or something. It's all a coincidence and has nothing to do with their European heritage. I assure you. I vote for Rick and Dan. I'd also nominate Stallion but think his country suffers from chronic power shortages, so don't think he'd be available to observe constantly...
I have no desire to be an "observer". The only position I will consider is "High Judge". And only then if I get to wear a hood. Like on the first season of "American Gladiators."

I decline. I honestly don't think this is needed. As many of us, including some of the staff, have said, the board is pretty much self moderating. If there is a questionable call, we can always go into Help Desk and argue it out. Besides that, so many posters have left that WF isn't exactly a hotbed of activity anymore. I would like to see the Shelter threads released a bit more frequently. I think that would be sufficient at this point to address any moderator activity
The only conclusion that can be logically drawn from this statement is that Muad Dib has been compromised by the authorities here at WF. Whether that means bribery in the form on money, civil war memorabilia, or the most nefarious form of bribery, sexual bribery, is the only question left to be answered. And do you know what would bring justice and closure to this case? WF Observers. I pledge to you that upon assuming this new position the very first thing I will do is REOPEN this case and leave no stone unturned until we get to the real truth. The. Real. Truth.
