We don't really do Christmas presents anymore, but I still got a book from my sister and an envelope from my mom (meaning $$$) which I hope I won't just spend on paying bills.. I'm saving up for some decent headphones (probably Grado). Had a great time!

    Star Trek: The Animated Series.
    Star Trek: Fan Collective: Borg.
    Superman Returns.
Studio Ghibli Movie Collection (bootleg 6 disk set of 12 movies)
    George Carlin: George's Best Stuff.
    George Carlin: Carlin On Campus.
    George Carlin: Doin' It Again.
Geoge Carlin: Jammin In New York.
    Tenchi Muyo OVA series 3 volumes 2 & 3.

Seems like a small haul, but factor in the 12 movies in Ghibli, and I made out like a raped ape.

From others I did manage to get a couple of shirts, some warm jammies, CSI season three, a fistfull of scratchoffs yeilding three bucks from the lot ( ), a Sheffield folding plier/knife/screwdriver/etc. in a belt case, and a nice green felt stoking/bag full of assorted exoctic candies.

We are going to pick up a Wii after we can manage to get our hands on one, probably next week.

I'm contemplating a 360 and a Halo3 setup later next month as a belated gift to the houshold.

The Wii is for my daughter, she's managed to keep her grades somewhat acceptable. Her math is top notch, and considering mine is so piss poor I figure anything to keep that up is worth it.
We have damn every platform produced for the last ten years save a P3, a 360, and a Wii. Ra and I take our gaming seriously, heh.

Now that we have DSL, we'll probably setup online. We hammer out H1 and H2 regularly, though H2 in legendary is damn hard. Keep running out of ammo. I much preffered the sighting pistol in H1 to the one in H2, though dual weild is cooler.

The 360 is for me more than anyone else truth be told. I'm ready to dive into H3. :techman:

Oh, I play halo 2 online all the time. And I never play the campaign. Tons of people beat legendary though, but Tartarus is fucking hard on it. I remember watching my friend beat that, then switch it to easy and we watched the difference.

Hot Topic? I actually experienced a "Christmas Miracle" there. I walked in (with my kids) and they were playing a song I actually recognized as music!

But the clerk with the HUGE earing (over an inch in diameter) is really fucking up his earlobe. It looks like a porkchop. :(

Some of the girls I see working the counter in Hot Topic really make me think dirty, bad things. :bergman:

    For Christmas
-Kevin Smith stand up DVD- it is some 4 hour long stand up where he goes from college to college fielding questions from the student body and his answers typically last between 5 to 15 minutes. Also he talks about how he met his wife and the first time they had sex. Hilarious.
    -A Scanner Darkly on DVD
-Elfen Lied complete series on DVD (I bought a new DVD player for my room to watch it with since my PS2 dislikes playing DVD movies)
-A gift card to FYE which I used to buy Accepted on DVD
-A gift card to Best Buy which I used to buy FFXII
-The Super Mario Brothers Super Show vol. 1 on DVD- I am still on good terms with my ex, and I talked about getting this all the time, so she up and bought it for me. I bought her the new Pirates movie and got her sisters each something and her mother a card. I needlessly spent about $500 this Christmas on people for no good reason. I think I got bit by a bug, the Christmas Bug.

    That was stupid.

    Anyway.

-The usual run of sweaters and shirts, all very nice but I will most likely never wear them
-As a belated Christmas gift I spent a few days with my friend Mike who was up from NC and drank my face off :hangover:. Best part of all that was the drunken phone call to my blog, which now has a drunk me rambling.:ramen: Someone that listened to it said I mentioned the Titanic. I don't remember mentioning the Titanic. I do remember making drunken shout outs, which I was cut off because the voice post system now likes to cut you off at 5 minutes. I think it was users like me who rambled for 20 minutes at a time that made them scale it back. Good to know I am having some effect in the world, be it positive, negative or indifferent.

-Uhh.... an 11 day vacation from work  - without pay :scorp:

    oh really now...lol...interesting...
actually...its quite amusing, Hot Topic....the only people that i know that work at the mall, work in Hot Topic.
the employees there are very cool...they amuse me because they cut up with you like they just befriended you. very friendly those people.

theres a girl that works at the mall over here, and she looks almost exactly like marilyn manson...shes nice...

i actually got my grandmother to go in there...
she was afraid to, and there was something I wanted to get for my cousin, so i had to go in there. she hesitated...then ended up loving it. it made me laugh. cause she is super religious and had all the preassumed ideas about everything in there. now she likes it.:) :busheep:
