To The Shadow: While there hasn't been a game exactly set around Army of Darkness in particular, there have been three games made within the universe of the series. The first was Evil Dead: Hail to the King, which was a loose retell of all three movies. Then there was ED: A Fistful of Boomstick, which was an interesting and fun side story in the game's universe that featured more interesting and fun weapons than either of the other games. The premise in that one was tracking a time-hopping madman toting the Necronomicon and battling the Deadites in different time periods. In fact if I see that at a gamestop I would pick it up without question. The third game is caught somewhere between bearable and complete suck, ED: Regeneration. The weapons are mundane and repetitive, 6 total and not very fun. There is the sidekick character, but he isn't nearly as funny as Ash. The game takes place after his return from England of the past where Ash is put in a mental asylum for the murder of his friends in the cabin. The hospital's director is some german guy with a hissing lisp that takes a deep interest in the Necronomicon and attempts to use it to control the world. In all three games Ash spews his famous quotes, and makes funny little quips. In Hail to the King, there are a lot of moments almost directly out of the movies, which is expected because it is loosely based on all three of them.
