And you were that angry, over a work of fiction, that you spent maybe $5-6 on, some 20+ years ago that you were finally able to let it go a few weeks ago?
That and as I've indicated I thought garamet was not discussing things here in a reasonable manner. and why not bring up stuff that garamet did decades ago? People bring up things I've done decades ago.
I never reviewed Probe on Amazon. I reviewed Dwellers in the Crucible (at garamets request) and Strangers from the Sky.
You still do, about a book, that was published over 20 years ago. And you called her a liar over it. Is that the behavior of a reasonable person?
Like I said. I thought she was lying. Later found out from other sources that she was telling the truth.
So I have until around 2035 or so until he lets go of this? Ah... gee-whiz. So you consider the best source possible a liar, but will readily accept accounts that are 2nd or even 3rd hand?
But you're too much of a coward to read the original and find out for yourself. And, again, that's not the real issue. The real issue is that every time you paint yourself into a corner, you play "PROBE!!!!!!" as if that's going to make your incompetence go away. It hasn't yet. After over a decade, you need to change your M.O.
So all your claims about being an outstanding teacher should also be met with skepticism and the assumption that you are a complete and total liar. And other sources are in conflict with your statements, so the only conclusion is that you are a liar about your abilities as a teacher.
No. But when you maintain something about your book or a book you openly detest will be seen quite reasonably as suspect with separate evidence.
Not at all. I have no special need for a handful of losers on the internet to think I'm a good teacher. So I have no conflict of interest.
Remember the essay scene in A Christmas Story? Where Ralph imagines the teacher is moved to tears by his essay, and all the other students cheer him on with a standing ovation and carry him on their shoulders? I think that's pretty much what goes through Dayton's head and expects every time before he makes one of his greatest hits post, except instead of an essay it's a post on here. But instead ends like this, but Dayton gets lower than a C+.
You just summed up why nobody takes Dayton seriously about military stuff. He can cite statistics, names, and nomenclatures, but doesn't have the analytical savvy to piece it together. "Book larnin'", as they say.
Well, as some of you might remember, I studied political science with a certificate in education. B.S.Ed. My transcripts were great, my Praxis scores were beyond great, but I'd honestly rather go to Hell, than step foot inside another classroom. I had no idea how much I truly hated kids until after student teaching and a year of subbing. The education system in this country is a total mess; the kids run the schools, and I flatly refuse to work under people who are dumber than me.
