The bullets have the luster of 24 carat gold even after being used? :flow2:

I love that it's reported as factual.

No, no. Those are special dual use bullets. See they canbe used by the military to first gun down an innocent person, then picked up by the soldier and used to kill the victim's child.

Our military is so, so evil.

That's pretty bad editing. I mean, sure, she might be confused, but the caption is just so obviously wrong. How about "holds up two bullets like the ones she claims were fired at her house," or something like that?

I would think that a citizen of Iraq, unlike most Americans, would know the difference between a bullet and a cartridge. :marathon:

Funny. The Yahoo! News page links to AFP, but neither the article nor the photo appears on the AFP site.

Anyone who gets their "news" from Yahoo! deserves exactly what they get...

:jayzus: And the sad thing is, there are people who are too ignorant of firearms facts to NOT see what's wrong with this picture.

Time magazine once had an article about the kind of exploding bullets Hinckley used to shoot Reagan. Their well-researched diagram showed the entire .22 rimfre cartridge leaving the barrel of the gun.

The really funny thing about this is that those bullets look like 7.62 mms from the towlie's weapon of choice, the AK-47. They just look to be too damn big to be 5.56s from a M-16.

Nah. Those are 5.56's (or maybe .223?*). They just look big because they're being held up close to the camera....

*However they do look awfully bright and shiney for millitary issue, although I'm used to seeing military surplus, so I might be wrong. Also, I may be mistaken here, but doesn't the M855 have green tips?

Y'know, I imagine any 10-year-old whose family lets him stay up late enough to watch Law & Order would see what's wrong.

The folks who compile Yahoo! news, OTOH...

The ogive on the bullet in that second pic looks much rounder than any US military bullet I've seen!

Say "ogive" to someone at Yahoo News and see what happens.

Oh do shut your fucking partisan hole.

Your gang uses "news" from yahoo all the time to attack the right. Now that someone is showing them to be biased and posting obviously false "news" you are spinning and trying to discredit.

When did Yahoo get acquired by FOX?
