And when it doesn't, you'll still be writing in candidates with no more chance than Batman, because that's your default position.
Like what, exactly? What kind of blind spots are you imagining that would lead Paul to act contrary to all the small-government stuff he's been talking about all these years?
What happens if Paul enacts his entire platform and it makes the economy even worse? What if it visibly threatens national security? Does Paul admit he was wrong about some things and try to correct his mistakes, or does he cling to what he believes?
And then later, it devolves into a cackle, and pretty much stays that way forever. I will roast a roadkill raccoon over a trashcan fire the day the world ends, and laugh my fucking ass off.
There's that wonderfully naive assumption - even after decades in D.C. - that once he was in office he could just snap his fingers and Congress would do his bidding because he asked nicely.
I see, so if a president believed that socialism was the best economic form possible, but had no desire to institute it, you'd be totally okay with that?
I see you're burdened with an overactive but imprecise imagination as well, because I didn't even imply that anything like that would happen.
From what I gather Obama's not really a creationist. So how's his apparently more rational take on evolution working out for his economic beliefs?
Neh! Whell! Ron Paul doesn't believe in string theory! Nyeh! Whell! He's just not nnnnnnngood enough! Nyeh! Whell! Fuck you. Read me? FUCK. YOU. 'kay? Nobody gives a shit about your petty little anti-American bias. Got it? Nobody. Cares about your anti-American bias. Fuck. YOU. You read me, cadet? Fuck. YOU. Americans are still voting American. Cry in your groats. Cry. In. Your Groats. Comrade. See what I'm getting at? Does that make you weep? Does that make you foam at the mouth? Does that drive you to the edge of madness? That there are still American politicians, despite the best efforts of all of you? Froth. RAVE.
I was referring to Ron Paul's wonderfully naive assumption. Or have you spent decades in D.C.? Or were you arguing that an M.D. who doesn't believe in evolution is lacking in blind spots?
Only because Obama was the first (aborted) attempt of the Left to seize ultimate power of the U.S., vastly underestimating their influence. Oh, please deny it -- please deny that, because I want nothing more than to BASH YOUR LYING FUCKING FACE INTO IT UNTIL YOU'RE A BLOODY, SOBBING FUCKING PULP. So LIE.. LIE,, because I've got an open hand and I'm fucking WAITING to seize the hair at the nape of your neck and SLAM your face into the steel plate of the truth. DO IT, you lying sack of FUCK.
To be my choice of president? No. To exist? No, that's you. Climb into the dumpster. That's right, get in there. Let the wilted lettuce wash over you. There you go.
I'm arguing that an M.D. who doesn't betray American beliefs can still treat American patients without replacing Americans' beliefs with anti-American propaganda. Bitch all you want. Cry. FUCKING WEEP. Americans will NOT have their beliefs subverted by anti-American propaganda. Weep over that. Sob over that. Fall to your MOTHER. FUCKING KNEES. OVER THAT. Americans have been, are, and shall remain AMERICANS. Gnash your fucking teeth. Rend. Your. Fucking. Vestments. over that. Americans. Shall. REMAIN. Americans. I hope it gives you nightmares, knowing that.
Hmmm. Obviously his views on creation and evolution didn't prevent him from earning those degrees or practicing medicine, much less having a good grasp on the needs of his patients, his constituents or an, at least passing, national vision.
I doubt there were any questions on the Boards that covered evolution. The point that eludes you is the cherry-picking. "Well, I believe in the science that advances my career, but I try not to look too closely at the science that underlies that science." Thank God Al Gore never practiced medicine...
Well, that makes it all the more unsettling... WTF was going on in his head during those biology exams? "I'll just humor them, and play along"?
He's running on the the GOP team, he has to say that regardless of whether he believes it or not, just like the DNC contenders would have to espouse belief that minorities are being held back regardless of whether they believe it or not.
