I love it. President Obama goes up in the polls, and the polls are biased. Mittens starts creeping back in the polls and it means he's going to win.
This is what we call confirmation bias and the right wing is full of it. Well, among other things they are full of.
Maybe if you you're looking at is the popular vote but the electoral vote numbers, you know... The numbers which actually matter, still show a very comfortable lead for Obama. Sorry, but this race isn't close. Just look at the map and cry, T.R.. http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/ If it makes you feel better to keep lying to yourself (just like you were lying earlier that "the polls are skewed!") then please continue to do so, by all means. The only way Romney is going to win though is if he can flip Ohio and right now the polls show Obama with a 70% chance of winning that state. I'm afraid you're not fooling anyone but yourself.
Isn't that what everybody said four years ago too? And probably also before Clinton's re-election? And his first election?
Paranoia is one of the causes (or symptoms?) of gun ownership. Single-issue voting is a symptom of that.
It's kind of a symbol of the whole Romney campaign really. The Romney campaign blimp in Florida which has "America needs Romney" written on the side was forced to make a near crash landing when a serious leak started to deflate the whole blimp. http://miamiherald.typepad.com/nake...nding-near-fort-lauderdale.html#storylink=cpy
Virginia flipped back today according to 538. That means it wasn't just one or two outlier polls but a sustained series of polls showing Obama slightly ahead of Romney in Virginia. Far from gaining ground Romney is losing more electoral votes and in the deciding state of Ohio Obama is also up even more. Will the last debate change things? I only saw half of it but it doesn't look good for mittens.
