What the hell? Every male post in the woman law thread has been erased. I didn't know we were segregating by gender here. If I start a white only thread are you gonna erase Anna, Mewa, Alphaman, and Marathon's posts from it?

I think they were split out into a thread that now makes no sense whatsoever.

ChriStalin, Please unlock my thread until the problem is resloved

Chris you're constantly screwing around with your power. Spliting our posts out wasn't acceptable unless you plan on doing the same with any possible type of race or gender segregation. Address the issue and don't just lock the thread.

Re: ChriStalin, Please unlock my thread until the problem is resloved

Mrs. A split them, not me. Doing the same for a racial thread would be acceptable, imo.

    Anything else?

Ya, Vandy didn't give you permission to move it from the red room in the first place. So I believe you should put the posts back where they belong and then move the whole thread back to the red room until Vandy says otherwise.

Wait, mods have to have posters permission before moving threads?

Not to sound authoritarian, but it really defeats the purpose of a moderator.

Not if the move if from media central to the rr or something like that, but this thread obviously belonged in the rr and it was just moved on Chris' need to be the hero.

If Vandy comes in and complains, there might be some validity to your complaint, but til she does, your complaints are without merit.

Tex, you guys were told by the moderator of the forum not to post in that thread and you did it anyway. MrsA split out the posts you guys made and stuck them in their own thread. From my point of view, there was some serious trolling going on there. Every now and then, just every now and then y'unnerstand, you have to play nice when they ask you to.

    I don't think you have a case.

Why weren't any of the posts from the ladies removed from the Man Law thread?

This just screams of unequal treatment.

Edit: oh, Mrs. A did it? That's surprising and disappointing. Still, unequal treatment.

Unequal treatment for unequal situations. The ladies weren't disrupting the men's thread, nor being unqualified assholes.

In short, their posts didn't destroy the thread.

The ladies started it. They disrupted the man law thread with four posts from three different ladies. Men didn't let it get to them, the women threw a fit about it happening in their thread.

In short, the men weren't PMSing.

The moderator of the Red Room didn't tell me not to post in there. Then the thread got moved because Chris went on another of his power trips. After that I only added one more comment and it wasn't even a troll. And besides all that, the only person that will tell me where I can and can't post is Elwood, and that is because he owns the board. It's a message board, if there is a thread I want to post in, I'm gonna do it, plain and simple. Timmy was right on the money when he said the men just blew it off, and that's how anyone should handle a post they don't like. It's all just words on a screen.

I just want to establish right now that it's ok for me to start a race or gender discriminating thread. Chris said yes a few posts up but I'm sure he doesn't speak for everyone. In the end, that's all this really boils down to.

While I see the point you're making there, there wasn't anything that caught my eye as being any more trollish than anything else in the RR. How many times has a thread at WF been totally hi-jacked and turned into something entirely different than it was initially?

Maybe something happened in there today that I'm not aware of (haven't checked the forums all day).I won't say anything else until I figure out why Mrs. A pulled a Cassandra-type move like this.

I don't see the need for splitting the thread either  -- apart from a couple of unkind digs at Vandy it seemed like run of the mill banter

I'm probably missing summink though. 'Twas maybe part of the banter, I dunno.

Why did he mention Mrs. A second if that was the real reason? From that post it seems to me that he was threatening to warn any guys posting in the thread for trolling, or at least have Mrs. A carry out that action.

It really isn't rational to move the thread into the Green Room. Vandy must have posted it in the Red Room for a reason, and the types of posts in the thread are clearly Red Room material and have no place in the Green Room.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but here's my take on it: the Man Law thread was started. I read about three pages of it, thought of a couple of points I'd make, but decided to respect the request that it be a man only thread. I know at least one woman posted in it after that, but I haven't read it since, so I don't know when or how much.
The woman's law thread was started. The second post was from a man, Mrs Flow made a light-hearted attempt to get things back on track, certain male members (and I use the word deliberately :garamet:) then did everything they could to troll, fuck it up, and stop any decent discussion going on.
While it was in Red there was nothing I could do about that - if certain men on this board want to be immature fuckwits, they have an absolute right to be so in Red. But I'll admit I didn't cry when it was moved to Green.
As Nick pointed out, Vandy hasn't complained about it being moved, so I fail to see any reason for the outrage.
