I'd like to hear about that. Dayton, how will you make yourself smarter? I had always assumed it was impossible.

Bill Clinton had been governor for 12 years. That kind of executive background tends to trump simple university degrees.

    I agree.

He is doing an adequate job of showing the whole world how an arrogant, bigoted, incompetant, uncouth, lying, petty, spoiled-brat bully with no aptitude whatsoever for the job can be expected to act if the people are stupid enough to vote him into the Oval Office.

Technically, that regulation wouldn't have gone into effect until April so Obama waited eight years before taking action. Also it is a regulation not a right.

I do agree we are better off with it than without it. I just wish Dems had gotten off of their asses to bother passing it before the election instead of after.

I would like a better explanation as to how the Left being energized in response to Trump is supposedly going to help the Republicans in the next election.

Did Obama’s big win in 2008 translate to continued gains in 2010? Quite the opposite.

Trump won on an anti-establishment platform. Now he is the establishment, and doing a shitty job by most reviews. Aside from the immigration nonsense, he has backed away from his populist promises that swayed moderate voters.

So much this. The fact that polls are taken on job performance before a guy is even sworn in as president is proof of that.

Sorry, but I think Trump deserves all the bashing he is getting. The whole 'alternative facts' debacle did it in for me. Once he comes back around towards reality I might have a little more sympathy for him.

It didn't. It went through the delegated regulatory body which makes these rules. That is part of the problem. Basically, like how Net Neutrality went through the FCC and not Congress.

We've been through this, people were screaming and bawling at McCain's concession speech, but I didn't hear the righties laughing and pointing at that shit.

I didn't laugh and point, I thought it was pathetic that they'd been so fear mongered against Obama.
He didn't do any of the imaginary shit the fear mongers said he would (FEMA death camps, death panels, etc), and what he did do didn't bring the world to an end like it was supposed to.

All the bad shit the left is afraid Trump will do, he's SAID he would do, and has started doing.
    It ain't imaginary.

Look, Din-Din, you think you're rebelling against a past version of yourself, but there's no rebellion there, you're a textbook partisan shill.
    Right off the factory line.

I'm curious ... What credentials do you think should get a person elected president?

Owning a baseball team? Previous acting career?

If you're interviewing a potential employee, do you vet him based on his past performance in his prior jobs or just ignore all that completely?

Trump was already vetted and hired. This is more like giving a new hire failing marks before he ever sets foot in the company.

So you're in the habit of hiring people with absolutely no experience who don't fit the job description? Next time Dayton's out of work, you should hire him.

Performance reviews will be verboten, of course. That would be "hysteria."

Your alleged stance seems sudden and new, and therefore suspect.
Like I said, I didn't hear this when it was the right shitting themselves over Obama.
But NOW it's "this goes too far!!".
    Too convenient for my tastes.

You believe that crap because you are a racist. That does not necessarily apply to anyone else. Oh, and just because you strain that tiny little ganglion with one thought at a time does not mean you are not racist when you are not thinking a racist thought. Those thoughts are just queued up for later.

They prefer confederate cuc this week. Please be politically correct and refer to the white supremacists in their name of the day. They go through a whole lot to make up new names when they tarnish the old ones, and the special little white snowflakes get sad if you use old names for some reason.

The Dummycrats whined for 8 years that the Repubs vowed to make sure Obama would be a one-term president, and to that end they tried to obstruct everything Obama wanted.

    Seems obstructionism goes both ways.....

Never heard the GOP referred to as "Dummycrats" before. Is that an original coinage or did you crib it from somewhere?

For one, significant experience in an elected executive office.

Or significant military experience in a command position.

    Is that satisfactory.
