I think Riker and/or Troi would disagree the most!

Can there be any doubt about who was really running that ship?

I think he'd be even happier if said phaser banks and torpedoes were mounted on his Jeep!

Yeah, but I could never be in Starfleet. What I'd want in that universe is my own private ship loaded out with those weapons, cargo hold full of whiskey and maybe some :spaceturkey: . Maybe run freight or passengers, do some charter tours when I felt like it. Camp out on uninhabited planets. Introduce the wife to a new alien chick every week. :diacanu:

Come to think of it, I'd probably watch a show like that.

But would probably be more like a porn flick! Or at least, Skinemax rated.

I desire a smiley with a dark haired girl stabbing the winking smiley in the eye. :mrsa2:

well, to answer the question, TNG Enterprise is a great design. But the Tardis is much cooler when it works properly.
I've never been a fan of Star Trek style time travel. But if we're randomly grabbing ships, any of the big airships from Final Fantasy XII will work for me..

If weapons make the ship cooler, then which kind?

The kind that make big BOOM BOOMs and pretty clouds of fire, or the kind that can wipe you out of existance without firing a shot?

Well, if you want to go the Not Firing a Shot route, then the hands down winner for coolest ship of ALL time is the Heart of Gold.

    Enterprise.

Yet if it's open to any space/time traveling vehicle I'd say the coolest is the Millennium Falcon. Not the best but certainly the coolest. A space jalopy, a patchwork of different parts that is highly maneuverable yet slow at sublight speeds. It's the superluminal speed that sets it above every other ship in the SW universe.

Well, only when it works. ;)

Or it's more sensual counterpart, "The Tantric Device".
