They much prefer playing little word games and avoiding the real problem instead of dealing with an uncomfortable truth.
BBC link. Guardian link The police aren't sure if the second shooting was related to the synagogue, which was meters away, or related to the first shooting which was three miles away. It suppose they could just think it was how Arabs celebrate Valentines day or something.
When are people going to stop apologizing for these animals? #notallmuslims is a crock as there is little condemnation among the goat fuckers anywhere. Some, but hardly a majority or even a large minority.
CNN reporting that Danish police have shot and killed the suspect. They believe he was involved in both attacks. I love a happy ending. (I just wish these fuckers would turn the guns on themselves first before they decide to go on a rampage.)
Sounds like all that's left is for Obama or Josh Ernest to point out that the Danes sacked and pillaged more than a few monasteries back in the day, so they shouldn't get up on their high horse about this. The BBC has already asked "Was the freedom of speech meeting in Copenhagen deliberately provocative?" Obviously people shouldn't be discussing free speech in public, much less let anyone know about a discussion ahead of time. That freedom shit needs to go underground so more people don't get hurt.
Who's apologizing for the shooter here? That's a lie. There's plenty of condemnation coming from other Muslims when attacks like this happen. Your preferred news sources just aren't reporting it, and you're not looking for it. You're actively choosing to reinforce your biases by remaining ignorant of what people are actually saying.
I notice you ran out of steam halfway through your post, as though you didn't really have a point to make in the first place. Don't worry, I'm sure no one respects you any less than they did before.
You know exactly what the point was... Unless you really are as stupid as you act here. But then again you are just an appearance liberal only interested in backing the side that it appears the most PC to back.
@14doctor you're letting yourself be trolled. When you are arguing against the "no Muslins condemn it " crowd, despite links upon links of Muslim condemnation of terrorism posted on here recently you know you're not dealing with people who are trying to have a sincere debate, but are instead looking for the reaction you have given them.
Then spell it out, coward. Also, find a new catchphrase. You've just about beaten this one to death. Related question: How many Muslims do you associate with on a daily basis?
You're right...and if were honest I'd admit that I'll probably still do it when I feel like it...but on this occasion I just feel that this thread is more troll bait than anything else, especially in view of the thread starter, who have pursued a grudge against me in particular for years now, despite me still not having a clue what it's about.
I’m sure Obama has someone working on a speech for when his 747 returns from his California golf outing. It will probably go something like this: **** Denmark has been grappling with the question of free thought, terror, and religion throughout its history. And lest they get on their high horse and think of themselves as innocent victims, remember that during the Viking era they had no qualms about sacking monasteries, killing priests, and taking women as slaves. They committed terrible deeds in the name of their pagan gods. Some feel their conversion to the true God, whether called Yahweh or Allah, was enough to absolve them of their past deeds, but obviously some newer arrivals in those formerly Viking lands don’t agree, and seek payback for past Danish injustice, terror, bloody raids, and conquest. The things some of the right-wing Danish extremists say about Islam, Danes once said about Christianity, as they so gleefully beheaded innocent priests, nuns, and simple farmers who just wanted to be left alone in peace. We cannot allow the cycle of violence to continue, but nor can we ignore who was doing it first. Until both sides sit down together and agree not to insult or criticize each other, progress won’t be made, and both sides will remain stuck in the past as the rest of us move into the future. Only through mutual respect and understanding can Denmark come together as one, Christian and Muslim, Jew and pagan, gay and straight, no longer stoking the fires of intolerance and religious hatred through cartoons designed to provoke, but recognizing that every minority has the right to equal respect, recognizing the wise words of leaders like Martin Luther, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and myself.
Speaking of not jumping to conclusions... http://www.bostonherald.com/news_op...penhagen_gunman_had_criminal_record_gang_past A gang member kills someone in a drive-by drive-by shooting. Yeah, that's got to be terrorism.
Would the criminal gang's name include the words Islamic, Jihad, al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, Muslim, Brotherhood, or Palestine, or was it something like the 4th Street Goat Fucking Motorcycle Bandits?
OMG! You are absolutely the last person who should ever call someone out about jumping to conclusions. You have a thread right now where all you do is jump to conclusions without any evidence to support any of it.
http://m.bbc.com/news/world-31481797 ISIS feels like no one cares about them any more so they went out an massacred dozens of coptic Christians on camera by beheading them.
Perhaps General Sisi will have the Egyptian military go handle the nasty neighbors who are beheading Egyptians.
http://m.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-31483631 It seems Sisi at least wanted to make a show of doing something.
I read this morning that the shooter was released from prison only a couple weeks ago. Was he trying to establish streed cred? Perhaps he had unresolved anger issues? Could this have been suicide by cop? Nah, the only explanation has to be terrorism. Why even bother investigating?
Terrorism is the use or threat of violence to achieve political change. Attacking satirists is political. Death is change. There you go.
So let me get this straight - the shooter was just a typical criminal. Nothing religious/political to his motives. I don't know how crime works in Europe (but I'm willing to learn) but in America most criminal gang activity involves making money - or killing those who are stopping you from making money. So what exactly is to be gained from shooting up a bunch of free speech organization members and a synagogue? That doesn't seem like a very lucrative enterprise to me.
Why yes they are. But some gangs are formed around giving their members a sense of identity/purpose/etc. and generally perpetuate violence for violence's sake above making money.
