Remember how I expressed concern about your and gul's objectivity? Booting Clyde isn't making that concern go away. Just FYI.
No, see, you're looking at it backwards. They bought and re-created the board just to get rid of Clyde. He was that annoying. Ahh, and now I've broken in my smiley.
Oh please. Clyde had well jumped the shark, still I don't expect you to see that since his last mess up involved you whining to the mods. Volpone's place as a mod and Paladin's retention is enough balance in my opinion. If you are worried about objectivity you should be more worried about how well the boys at he top of the tree are willing to listen to the other mods or the membership. That will be the real test of their objectivity. This thread reminds me actually, what are the rules now? I can't find them anywhere. Shouldn't that have been the first thing to go up?
The Rules can be found at the bottom of every page with the link Terms and Rules. It was added this morning by myself.
I tweaked a couple things since we no longer have rep, and the Blue Room no longer has a joinable usergroup associated with it.
So there's also no way to revoke access for those who repeatedly post BR content in other fora, as used to be done on occasion?
No, we can do that on an as needed basis. What is much harder with this software is the opt-in feature.
Quite the opposite, this software allows us to revoke people's access to a forum on an individual basis (actually I think vBulletin allowed the same).
@shootER has joined the staff as the Shelter mod. Hopefully with someone assigned the duty of removing Personal Information from threads and pushing them out into the Release forum we won't have the giant gaps between releases.
about the only hiccup there is the concentration of super mods in Pacific Time. Other than getting another Euroforger though, seems like a well balanced team.
That's a good point. Volp working nights should balance that a bit near term but moving ahead the focus should be Europe.
