College is just a way for most jobs to weed out applications these days, since 1/3 of the population has some sort of degree. I remember @actormike saying he got a job once that called for a master's degree just cuz he knew the right person to get hired....some office job type stuff that only required a high school degree forty years ago.

You're right about college. Decades ago an aptitude test of some kind would've been used but employers became terrified of being sued for discrimination so testing went out the window.

I know he's in the rap business in some form - I remember Vanilla Ice claiming Suge threated to kill him or something in an interview. Highly doubtful! Correct me if I'm wrong (not a rap expert) but most rappers are vehemently opposed to violence in any form and conduct themselves in a genteel, understated manner at all times.

Now there is apparently some audio just released that purports to destroy the police narrative, but sometimes these things turn out to be not so true. So it would be a safe bet to keep alternatives open. Hence me asking how can you know the officer had no reason to draw his weapon?

I can understand desiring a certain narrative or a certain outcome in the case, but unless you were there or have access to special information, how can you know?

Drawing his weapon is not the issue. Pumping six rounds into an unarmed individual is.

Actually that's entirely backwards. The issue is if the officer was justified in shooting. Once that decision is made the number of rounds fired is irrelevant.

What I understand is that an unarmed, handcuffed man somehow managed to "shoot himself." And that an unarmed man at a distance from the police officer he'd scuffled with, with his hands raised, shouting "Don't shoot!" was shot anyway.

Maybe you can cite some instances of Being Shot While White that are comparable. Yanno, to be "fair and balanced."

I don't own a weapon because military posts are "gun free" zones so it wouldn't be practical. I do my business in high risk areas when I get off work,
so I'm sans gun since who wants to backtrack by going home then going downtown?Guns are not taboo in my family, so it's no big deal who has or who doesn't have or use one.
