I'm going to come out and wager that he earned 5 warnings, and because all he did was troll, flame, and spam, he was never let back in. I could be wrong about the first part though.
Not the official answer, but it is the answer. He had several dozen posts outside of the Red Room. All he had to do was change his signature (I forget what it was).
Exactly. I asked him to change it and rather than do so, he made three more Negro-Ted posts. He was active and online...ten minutes was more than enough time to change a sig, instead he kept posting. He didn't so he was banned. Yes, I was lazy and just used the ban poster option rather than warn every individual incidence, but the result would be the same anyway. Elwood would have to say why he isn't back....but it might have to do with him making threats and constantly being an ass about WF at TK and not really making much of a contribution over here when he was here besides a couple token posts and a whole lot of trolling. That is not official, just my guess.
Well, I understand WHY he was banned. But it's been an awful long time. Seems like he should at least be allowed another chance. Even if he has been an ass at TK, I thought what was posted at TK didn't affect what happened here?
He should stop putting "VIAGRA DISCREET DELIVERY" in the subject line. Elwood has a super good spam filter.
Funny, I contacted Elwood a couple of times before I was even an official member of the board again and got prompt responses both times.
IIRC Elwood gave Darthsickle prompt responses too. Only they were to go to hell or something about hell and ice or something. I don't recall the language. Elwood cc'd me the email, I'll look into it.
I'm not seeing the outrage for Darthsickle's banning. It's one of the few bannings that was well-earned from all his Negro-Ted trolling. And from her persona here and at TK, I have the feeling that his "contact" with Elwood have been less than convincing that he's not being a fuckwit. that being said, we shouldn't have a post ion our grey room warning other mods/admins of other boards not to use information here to ban at their boards when some are willing to hold information at TK as evidence that he shouldn't be let in.
The Gray Room is a hidden room with at least a modest expectation of privacy..as in you have to be a member to see it. That is the whole reason for that admonishment.
