Why is Gul Still Here? OR why did Anna and John fall on their swords for Gul?

No one said that. Just that he sucks as a moderator and I would like to see him step down so Paladin comes back.

 

Gul is a terrible moderator...but he is also an arrogant man who will cling on to power whatever any critics say.

So I ask you, at the what point does the removal excercise become futile?

Gul clearly refuses to go nowhere...so aren't we at a point where we either accept under protect or otherwise just up and leave?

 

It is a decent question. I find point out the problem as well as a viable solution tends to eventually aggitate for a discussion if nothing else.

 

I think the point has been articulated substantially and with considerable articulation...and not without total failure given certain resignations (albeit ones I didn't call for) and the closure of the Violet Room.

But there comes a point where there must be acceptance. Gul isn't going anywhere and neither are those who are content to ally with him or blow smoke up his arse. So the question becomes two fold, are you sick of it enough to leave, or will you engage in measured, reasonable protest? I reckon those are the only options rather than deliberate trolling or petty name calling for reactions.

Personally I am not so sure I want to let this community die. I am one of the board's true neutrals (despite those who won't accept it) so have earned the butthurt of both partisan sides many times over. I have no loyalties. Half of me just says walk away from the detestable partisan games, the other says to not let them rob me of a community I have been a part of for a third of my life.

All I know is that there is a lot of bullshit going on both partisan sides that achieves nothing but more division...and it should be a testament that I have no partisan loyalties that I will engage you at length on this and otherwise support gturner in and unfair ban dispute being obviously and passionately against you on an great many subjects (which in turn makes a mockery of the critical crap I have read from the liberal elitists who have spent the better part of the past five years or so pos repping me for my opinions on social issues).

 

It demonstrated they I understand cost. I have a dedicated server, not a shared host like WF.
