I read it too, and they really nailed @Tracker good. They knew what he was about, and unless you were to keep him as a fun to kick dog he is pretty useless over all. When you don't let him start his whiny garbage he is just part of the noise of the internet. The way I look at it is this place has him as that disgusting annoying pet that was always here and just became part of the place.
